23.01.2022 Finally, finished the Barr Smith Library mural last Friday. Thank all the volunteers for your time and your helping. Most of these volunteers do not have art or painting background but they come along and paint the mural with the artist Guiyong Zhuduring the five days. ... These volunteers were involved in the painting process of the mural. It builds connections between the mural and the volunteers, and this mural has some special meaning for those people who be involved in it as well. All these volunteers did excellent works. Wish we can do more this kind of project in which people can be involved in the design and painting process.

23.01.2022 Artist: Guiyong Zhu (Zhuzhu) Email: [email protected] Artwork name : ‘The Butterfly Effect Series 2’ Material: Acrylic on canvas Size 60cm*75cm... The inspiration for these two paintings was the 2004 movie ‘The Butterfly effect’. Both paintings are dominated by waves and butterflies with the most basics of painting (semiotics) language, point, line, plane and colours to express the connections between all things. A small initial change can lead to an unpredictable massive change when amplified over time. So, does the size of the waves have to do with how often butterflies wave their wings? If you have any questions about my paintings or are interested in purchase please email: [email protected]

14.01.2022 Welcome join me if anyone wants to experience painting a mural.

02.01.2022 This mural was created for the hair salon 'Blow it's a hair thing', in April 2019. It expresses the hair salon's culture. Art is a DNA of space, it is a way to expresses the place function or culture.
