They break their fast only after they have seen the moon. They fast and pray for a long and healthy life of their husbands. It's a very romantic notion. I view it as a powerful intention setting for a long and happy married life. ... 18.01.2022 Our Team These gentle and loving people help me make my dream a reality. They are the ones responsible for making the beautiful clothes you adorn.... This year has been one bizarre year. While many of the big companies responsible for fast fashion and mass production shut down earlier this year ( as many of you may recall the millions of labourers returning to their ancestral villages because they lost their daily wage jobs overnight) We at Tara and the Tigress have inherited 4 new staff members and have been "retraining" them to focus on quality and not on speed and quantity - believe me it's deeply ingrained in their system and has been quite a challenge. They can't believe that we're asking them to go slow and not zip through a piece at the speed of light while giving no cares to the quality of the end product. And these are people who have been in this business for the past 15 years+ and have worked for some reputable brands. We'll talk lots more on that in our future posts. So pictured here are my beautiful staff who run, manage and work at our small workshop in Udaipur. These photos were taken last Friday on Dhanteras the day before Diwali.
