24.01.2022 Thank you to Kath and Steph Silk from ‘My bush Babies Aust.’ Who took this little one and mum to get him checked. Might be a sprained arm but both will he returned when checked to our ‘Koala Kafe’

23.01.2022 Added Koala rescuer to my resume today. This gorgeous little thing was caught in our soccer net. After Mrs Gray and I cut it out, it found mum but is still a little sore.

22.01.2022 Afternoon parents Due to internet and technical issues the department system, Oneschool has regenerated invoices. If you have already paid these invoices PLEASE IGNORE the emails just sent. We apologise but unfortunately this was not our fault. We are rectifying right now

20.01.2022 Tomorrow (Thursday 5th Nov) is our orientation day for our Prep students for 2021 and their parents. It will start at 9:15am in the library. Mrs Nilon will meet everyone at the car park gates and have them sign a COVID register in accordance with the Covid safe plan. Children and parents will have short talks from 2 guest speakers, Mrs Nilon and the Prep teacher for 2021. Parents will also receive a pack of information to help guide parents for 2021 start.... At around 10:30 we will move outside for the children to have a play and the adults can enjoy some morning tea by the play ground also having the opportunity to ask any questions that they might think of in the mean time. This will also be the time where parents will nominate the Thursday/s their child will be attending for transition days. Look forward to seeing you there.

20.01.2022 Thank you to Tarampa Social Club for helping our school. How fantastic is this community in the midst of a disgusting year. Great community spirit right there.

19.01.2022 Tarampa State School is a sun smart school. After giving students a one week warning, we are now re-enforcing our 'No hat, No play' policy. This has always been our policy however the school has been offering spare hats for those that don't have one. This has lead to an increase in these hats going missing or not being returned or children not remembering to bring a hat for play let alone lessons outside such as PE.... If students cannot show that they have a hat, they will miss out on play. Please make sure your child has a hat so they don't miss out. It is and always will be part of our policy to protect our students from sun damage. Thank you for helping support our students and and keeping them safe.

13.01.2022 Don’t forget! NO school today it is a Student Free Day

11.01.2022 Meanwhile on the other side of Ipswich at the lovely Tarampa State School, the littlies learnt all about monochrome colour schemes - mixing tints and shades with white and black to create these oh so expressive faces. Look out Basquiat!!!

11.01.2022 Absentee’s, Late arrivals and Early departure procedures: The Department of Education and Training requires explanations for all student absences, this can be done ONLY via the School stream app or the Student absence line on 5427 8466 where you are to leave a message. Texting, emailing or Class DoJo message to your child’s teacher is not the correct procedure. It is school policy and a matter of student welfare, that parents are to inform administration not their teachers o...f their child/ren being absent from school. When a student arrives late to school and it is before 9:10am, they will be sent to their classroom. Any child who arrives after 9:10am will need to be signed in at the office by a parent/ Caregiver. You are then required to immediately leave the school grounds due to the COVID 19 Safe Plan. Parents are only allowed to enter the school grounds if picking their child up early or dropping them off late by parking in the carpark and entering via the front gate. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
