25.01.2022 Spring is definitely here... Twinkle the bunny has new babies. 6 little ones will be out and about to greet guests in another week or so.

25.01.2022 Bath time at Tara’s farmstay

23.01.2022 Magnificent sunset tonight. So lucky to have this view!

19.01.2022 Don’t forget to include a trip to Zoo Doo if you stay with us - located just 10-15minutes drive from our farm it is a great outing for kids and adults, make sure you take the safari bus and pat the animals - our favourites are the new baby zebra and the camels.

18.01.2022 Floods in some parts of Hobart last week - but we had no ‘excitement’ here at all - the river rose a bit for all of 24 hours and the paddocks had a good soak whilst we were warm and cosy in the house! Life goes on as as usual here.

18.01.2022 Thank you to all our wonderful guests!

18.01.2022 Our annual bonfire was last weekend. There were about 40 hardy souls who braved the less than ideal weather but I think it was worth it for the amazing warm fire!

16.01.2022 Meet our latest little orphan lamb - the kids have named him ‘Lamb-baa-ghini’ - currently just a day old and very weak but getting lots of love and attention.

11.01.2022 Breakfast time!

10.01.2022 Lambs going well! So happy that lamb-baa-ghinis mother has taken over his care again. It’s wonderful to see him happy in the paddock again with his twin.

04.01.2022 Our grapes are almost ripe - you can pick these each time you walk into our sugarloaf apartment this week... yum yum!!!

04.01.2022 Shearing time! It only happens once a year. This must be one of the most back breaking jobs in the world. Our merino sheep are big and fat and healthy this year and their wool is looking great. Thanks to our shearer for a great job.
