25.01.2022 Dear Parents, Next week will be the Secondary Fun Swim Carnival (Monday 30th of November) and the Primary Fun Swim Carnival (Thursday 3rd of December). The carnivals are aimed to promote participation and fun for students. Attached is the timetable and dates for the two carnivals. The weather is expected to be very hot. The school will be taking portable water containers for students however, it is highly recommended that students bring their own water bottles, sunscreen ...and a swim shirt with sleeves. The canteen at the pool will also be operating throughout both carnivals. This year the carnivals will have a theme of Hawaiian (Primary) and Australiana (Secondary). There will be best dressed awards and awards for the best dressed class. If you have any questions about the days please contact Mr Josefski at the college.

25.01.2022 'After countless lessons of pin pricking, unpicking and button holes, the year 9 Home Economics students have finished making their own modernised Hawaiian Shirts. Well done!

05.01.2022 Dear Tara SSC community, With the forecast of extreme weather conditions (heat) predicted for the next week, our college has developed a plan to ensure the safety and well being for our students and staff. We have made the decision to shorten the length of the secondary swimming fun day on Monday (30 November) to the morning hours until 11:30 am. This will apply to the primary swimming fun day scheduled for Thursday (3 December). It is important that the students have a wate...r bottle, hat, sunscreen and a sun safe shirt for the events at the pool. There will be modifications to the eating and play times (classrooms will be open) for students across the week to ensure their health and wellbeing is managed appropriately. Thank you for supporting us as we ensure that we are taking the best care of our students and staff. Warm regards, Craig Homer Principal
