23.01.2022 We will be launching the John Noble Quartet Program on Friday, August 7th at the Bairnsdale Hub. Our new collaboration with the program and Bairnsdale Hub will extend local opportunities for Crashendo! Bairnsdale graduates and other advanced young local strings musicians. The program offers ongoing professional mentorship, performance opportunities and a potential professional pathway for string students and is the only program in East Gippsland which offers this. In additi...on, musicians will also have unique performance opportunities which include paying alongside Artistic Partrons and Flinders Quartet. All 9 Victorian regional ensembles within the John Noble Quartet Program will perform at the Melbourne Recital Centre for the end of year concert. The Bairnsdale Hub will provide a newly modernized rehearsal space with high speed internet and allow delivery on inspirational coaching via online platforms. Bairnsdale will host 2 John Noble Quartet youth ensembles. They will rehearse fortnightly and alternate between remote tutoring with John Noble and self-directed rehearsals. Rehearsals have already commenced, and the student musicians are developing their skills with enthusiasm. See more

BAIRNSDALE AND JOHN NOBLES QUARTET PROGRAM STILL MOVING FORWARD Due to changes in COVID -19 related restrictions in Victoria, the launch of the CRASHENDO! and John Nobles Quartet program (Itet) for Bairnsdale has been postponed. However, Crashendo! Bairnsdale and John Noble will work with the musicians and their families to ensure the program will still move forward with scheduled rehearsals. Ryan Davies from locally based Wacky Wombat Entertainment will bring the excitement of the Circus world whilst highly experienced tutors, both local and from Melbourne, will present sessions in percussion, singing, brass, woodwind and strings to the tune of The Dance of the Clowns.
