23.01.2022 Physiotherapy Network is open! Our physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, dietitians, and occupational therapists are continuing to offer consultations during this tough period. You will notice some changes which have been in place since the beginning of March. All patients are required to sanitise their hands on arrival, complete a COVID-19 screening questionnaire and have their temperature taken prior to their appointment. We ask that only those attending the appointm...ent present to the practice. If you require a carer to attend your appointment with you that is ok. We will ask the carer to please complete the same procedures. If you have a high temperature and/or flu like symptoms then we would ask you not to attend your appointment but give us a call instead. Our staff are committed to helping our community get through these challenging times and we thank you for your support See more

15.01.2022 To all our valued hydrotherapy clients, Indoor pools will be allowed to open under strict social distancing guidelines from 13th June. We are currently investigating how this will apply to the hydrotherapy pool. This is not a simple process as the hydrotherapy pool services hospital inpatients and the wider community. We must ensure that the process put in place is robust enough to ensure the safety of our most vulnerable clients. During the lockdown period the hydrotherap...y pool and facilities have undergone a significant upgrade - including a new heating system, renovation of the change rooms and bathrooms, replacement of the poolside flooring and installation of a new hoist. Some of this work is still ongoing. At this stage the hydrotherapy pool will remain closed. As soon as it is practical the pool will be opened. Once there is a firm date for reopening a notification will be placed on our Facebook page. Thank you for your patience.

15.01.2022 Inline with advice from NSW Health we are asking all patients and visitors of Physiotherapy Network to wear a mask when they attend appointments. Thank you in advance.

09.01.2022 It’s occupational therapy week and we are celebrating our OTs from the Mayo Private Hospital and Mayo Injury Management Service (MIMS) and the important work they do to help people at all stages in their life reach their potential. Occupations mean meaningful activities, not simply professions and include all activities of daily living such as showering, getting dressed, reading, cooking, eating, dancing, singing and playing games or sports. OTs use meaningful activities (occ...upations) as therapy and as goals for patients to work towards as part of efforts to improve their health and wellbeing. OTs aim to make therapy fun and entertaining, yet challenging and meaningful to each patient. OTs can assist with rehabilitation, pain management, driving assessments, support in schools and home modifications to help people fulfil their roles such as being a parent, productive employee, artist, or sportsperson.
