16.01.2022 TASMANIAN LAMB LOIN CHOPS WITH GARLIC Use our delicious Lamb to create an easy Lamb Loin Chops with Garlic dinner that is mouth-wateringly good. WHAT YOU NEED:... 4 Tarkines Ridge Lamb Loin Chops. 3 tablespoons olive oil. 5 garlic cloves, minced. Pinch of salt. 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper. 1 tablespoon olive oil. Fresh parsley, chopped (optional) WHAT TO DO: 1. Allow Tarkines Ridge Lamb Loin Chops to sit on the counter at room temperature for 5 minutes before cooking. Combine 3 tablespoons olive oil, minced garlic, pinch of salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper in a small bowl, and mix. Rub lamb loin chops with this mixture. 2. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large fry pan until hot. Add lamb loin chops and cook on high heat about 3 minutes on one side, then turn over and cook for 3 minutes on the other side. Use splatter screen if needed. 3. Reduce the heat to low, flip the lamb chops over and let them cook on low heat for approx 3 minutes. Then, remove the fry pan from heat and cover with lid. Leave the chops in the fry pan, covered for about 4-5 minutes. 4. Check the lamb loin chops to see if they’re cooked. (ideally, they should be a nice pink colour when cut in the centre, not raw). 01.01.2022 TASMANIAN LAMB SHANKS This week cook Tarkines Ridge Tasmanian Lamb Shanks and treat your family. This recipe is super easy! ... WHAT YOU NEED: 4 Tarkines Ridge Lamb Shanks. 2 carrots, peeled and chopped. 1 zucchini, chopped into 1 cm pieces. 1 1/2 cups green beans. 1 1/2 cup red wine. 200g mushrooms, sliced. 1 brown onion, chopped. 2 vegetable stock cubes. 2 teaspoons brown sugar. teaspoon garlic, crushed. 2 tablespoons tomato paste. WHAT TO DO: 1. Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees celsius. 2. Place all vegetables into a large, deep casserole dish with the lamb shanks. 3. Mix the stock cubes, sugar, tomato paste and garlic with 2 cups of hot water and then add 1 1/2 cups of red wine (ideally Shiraz or Merlot but any red wine will work). 4. Pour over the shanks and vegetables and cook with lid on for approx 1 hours (then, remove lid to ensure shanks are covered, carefully turning shanks if not totally covered in fluid), replace lid and continue to cook for 1 hour. 5. Once shanks have been cooking for 2 hours, remove the lid and continue to cook for a further 40 minutes. Your Lamb Shanks are then ready to serve - perfect with mashed potato.
