During her visit, Coral kindly donated some of her wonderful books to our school - these books will be available for borrowing from our school library. Each class enjoyed a session with Coral, who shared her experience as a writer and also some great strategies for gathering ideas for writing. Our TPS Writers were certainly inspired! Thank you Coral!

18.01.2022 Wednesday was Bouncy Castle Day! The TPSA wanted to recognise the huge year it has been for all of our students and to thank them for their resilience during COVID. At a meeting in October, it was suggested that a bouncy castle could be organised for the last week of school. The students enjoyed two activities. K-2 had a fun bouncy castle and the years 3-6 had an obstacle course. Thank you to all parents who have helped in raising funds so the TPSA could treat the students with this day. If you have wondered about how you can help with the TPSA, please come along to the meetings, held on the first Tuesday of the month, or offer to help at one of the fundraising activities which will run next year. Happy Holidays, from the TPSA!

13.01.2022 The last few weeks have been abuzz with the Tournament of the Minds (TOM) challenge in Year 5-6! The challenge saw them working in groups of 7 to produce short videos. The videos had to be a short play outlining the group's response to the posed question. Marks are awarded for things such as script writing, costuming, backdrops and props. All with no adult assistance! Students consistently demonstrated all 5 of our school values, however it was collaboration and creativity that were really put to the test - and not to mention resilience! 3 of our teams were awarded a Merit (the highest award) in their chosen discipline. We congratulate all of those students involved in TOM!
