20.01.2022 Welcome to my Little cake facebook page! I have been making and decorating cakes for about 2 1/2 years now, not including all the birthday cakes I have done for my 3 boys over the years! I mainly make cakes for family and friends and do not want to have a big cake buisness! I enjoy what I do and dont want the pressure that will stop this enjoyment. In saying that, if there is something here that you like and you would like me to make for you message me, you just never know!

18.01.2022 Purple zebra stripe cake for an 18th. First time doing Zebra stripes, I am pretty happy with how they turned out!

18.01.2022 Wedding cake made a few weeks ago. Bottom 2 layers are chocolate mud cake, top layer is fruit cake. All flowers hand made, figurine purchased by bride.

14.01.2022 This was a bit stressful to make as it was 3 days after Christmas! But it would have to be my favourite wedding cake I have made. It was for my cousin and his gorgeous bride and It really was my pleasure to make it for them and be part of such a wonderful day.

03.01.2022 I know this article is from the US but I do think it is quite relevant for Australia too. I often hear people recommend the kids character cakes from Woolies and it really makes me shudder! Those cakes are made in SCOTLAND and imported over here. They are shelf items (as in found on shelves next to the bread, not refrigerated) and have a loooong shelf life. The last one I looked at still had another 6 weeks until its expiry date, then take into consideration the time it took to ship it over here.. What kind of preservatives allows a CAKE that sort of shelf life? I know they are cheap and kids birthdays can be expensive anyway but wouldnt you rather pay the extra and give your kid something fresh and not full of chemicals? Support your local cake maker, there are plenty of them out there!

02.01.2022 Adventure time cake! I love adventure time so this one was lots of fun to make!
