22.01.2022 Friday 3rd April will be an emotional day for us. We will be temporarily closing the cafe at the end of trading for the first time in over 20 years. This has be...en a very difficult decision but one we believe best respects the governments policies around staying home and of course to protect the health of both our staff and visitors. We truly appreciate the support of our customers and team through this strange and ever changing period, from the initial distancing measures, followed by limited numbers in cafe and finally to our take away only model. We believe we have now exhausted all practical options and made the best decision for everyone concerned. We hope you are able to keep yourselves and your loved ones in good health. We very much look forward to seeing you at the cafe again to dine with us on the other side. In the mean time please keep watch on our social pages for updates.

18.01.2022 The delegation visited Tasmanian Berries on Saturday, which employs around 148 Timorese workers. Again, it was great to hear that the Timorese are making highly... valuable contributions. Some of the workers have learned new skills, for example, mounting the poly tunnels to house the berries. They said these skills can also be applied in Timor-Leste if they are given the opportunity. Sadly, Thomas ‘Toto’ Pereira was working on this farm. We lost a skilled and valuable worker yesterday and we send our deepest condolences to his friends and family and all those who worked alongside Toto. - - Sabadu liu ba delegasaun vizita Tasmanian Berries, fatin ne'ebe foo serbisu ba trabalhador Timoroan 148.
