07.01.2022 Position Vacant Export Coordinator Smithton Tasmania Tasmanian Seafoods Pty Ltd is a long established high quality processor of seafood products such as abalo...ne and sea cucumber focused on overseas markets. We are looking for an individual to fulfil the full time position of Export Coordinator. This position reports to the Export Manager, and will be based at the Head Office in Smithton Tasmania. The Export Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that administrative tasks and functions are carried out in accordance with the organisations requirement to provide for the quality processing of documentation and co-ordinating despatches as per the guidance of the Export Manager whilst complying with government requirements. This is a high level administrative position requiring attention to detail with excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong computing skills in MS Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Additionally, a good capability in order processing with computer systems is sought. As this role is time critical there is a necessary requirement for working outside normal work hours at short notice. Also the applicant will need strong time management skills with an ability to prioritise tasks and negotiate with various stakeholders to ensure best value for the organisation. The ideal applicant will have demonstrated extensive experience in complex administrative tasks over many years, and an ability to meet stringent deadlines requiring an exacting quality of work. Previous experience in export documentation control and MYOB Enterprise would be considered highly.
