22.01.2022 Check out some of these super cool creations that animators Vivien Mason, Jenae Hall Animation, Avon Blazely and Paula Hatton have been working on bringing to life frame by frame through the stop motion technique! These Tasmanian cave creatures are all soon going to be singing with the voices of various Tasmanians who submitted self recordings to us during lockdown in May 2020. The world premiere screening of these five short films is going to be at Ten Days on the Island next month so keep an eye out for screenings in Burnie, Launceston and New Norfolk.

19.01.2022 Have you caught a glimpse of There Is No 'I' In Island in the lovely trailer for Ten Days on the Island?! It features one of Elizabeth Barsham - Tasmanian Gothic Art's beautiful, strange painted creatures come to animated life. Tickets (mostly FREE!) to our screenings in Burnie and New Norfolk are now available for booking on the website below, with further screenings to be announced for Launceston soon. Always best to book early to avoid missing out. https://www.tendays.org.au/program/there-is-no-i-in-island/

07.01.2022 Another day, another shoot, this time hanging in a sunny yellow bathroom with fabulous Takani Nimby Joan who had to do a lot of self-reflection. Meanwhile the two woman crew of Bec and Cat wore many hats to get the job done - producer, director, camera operator, gaffa, grip, art director, audio playback! These films, which share the voices and innerworld of Tasmanians during lockdown last year will have a world premiere at Ten Days on the Island next month in various parts of Tasmania so keep your eyes peeled for further details.

07.01.2022 We are delighted to be part of the Intimate Epic program at Ten Days on the Island set against the backdrop of New Norfolk. There are numerous FREE screenings of There Is No I In Island over the final weekend of the festival but you do need to book your tickets on the Ten Days website to ensure you don't miss out. And check out some of the the other great events, experiences, food, drink and exhibitions that are happening out that way too - make a day, or afternoon of it. It looks epic...but in an intimate way. https://www.tendays.org.au/program/there-is-no-i-in-island/

05.01.2022 Our final shoot day today and it involved covering the ever so patient Rik Wellington with lots of STUFF (thanks to Mark Thomson and Asia Mycak for help with burying Rik!), samurai swords, Sammy the dog, and various snatches of song. Now to the edit suite to get these films finished in time for Ten Days on the Island screenings next month.
