23.01.2022 Just something to think about. I read recently that a couple decided to get married with just the 2 of them and their parents as their witnesses. They chose the same date as the parent’s wedding so they could celebrate year after year on the same date. It didn’t say of which party the parents belonged to. I thought it was a lovely idea. Might help when trying to choose a date?

11.01.2022 Well the financial year has begun! If you're like me it's a time for making new plans and looking forward to the future regardless of how things may look at the moment. It's also a time to be optimistic. I am so looking forward to meeting new couples and helping them make their dreams come true. I know financially it has been a struggle for many, including myself. It is with this in mind I have decided to keep my fees the same for this financial year. Thank you for checking out my page. If you would like to ask questions or receive a quote please send me a message - absolutely no obligation. I also have a website which is packed with information and suggestions...as well as reviews and photos. http://cherylweeksmail.wix.com/marriage-celebrant

08.01.2022 A Legals only - plus other benefits, doesn’t have to be a boring ceremony. Even if you choose this option, I still believe every wedding should be romantic, private and give you both the option of adding your own vows and a poem or reading. Of course I still do Wedding Ceremonies with all the inclusions Price for this Ceremony is $580. I invite you to check out my Facebook Business page, and if you have questions please ask - no obligation. WWW.facebook.com/tasmaniastressfreeweddings

02.01.2022 Well, today was a day I always look forward to. The Ongoing Professional Development (OPD) training that all Celebrants across Australia are required to attend every year to remain the most equipped and as the name states, the most professional they can be. We are forever learning, always changing, to be able to give you the perfect wedding ceremony, whilst making sure everything is completed legally to fulfil your dream of becoming husband and wife. I might be biased, but I ...think Tassie Celebrants are pretty special. Where else would we find Celebrants who need to carry umbrellas, bug spray and sunscreen at the same time? Sometimes we have unexpected guests - like snakes, Jack jumpers (they are very bitey ants for the uninformed), and very friendly wildlife! I was once standing doing my thing on a pergola with my back to the railing when I was startled to find a couple of horses in the nearby paddock had decided the roses decorating the railing were good enough to eat. Then one of them started nibbling up and down my back! The couple and their guests were delighted! I managed to keep my composure long enough to pronounce them husband and wife! It’s moments like this that make beautiful memories. This was going to be a short post, but I’ll wind it up by saying, I would love to be considered for your Celebrant. I can’t promise a couple of nibbling horses but can promise I will do the best I can to make sure your ceremony will reflect your personalities and wishes on the day. For a no-obligation quote please contact me either through my FB page, website or by private message. I’d love to hear from you.
