24.01.2022 This is what our heaters look like in a Hobbit Hole!!! We spent a night away in the Hobbit Cottage at Blackwood Park S/C Cottages in Mole Creek and while it was a very clean, very cute cottage, I couldnt help wishing it really was a nice round hobbit hole!!!

15.01.2022 Ok, so Ive been too busy selling these funky little heaters to update our status!! Its freezing outside, here in Sheffield Tas, but we are cosyed up next to our barrel and its feeling like summer!!!!!

09.01.2022 Have you cleaned your flue lately? If it wasn't cleaned at the end of last winter, then it would be a good idea to clean the accumulated creosote out now, before it builds up too much in the coming cold months. A dirty, clogged flue not only affects the 'draw' and causes a smoky fire box but could become a safety hazard, as it can catch on fire. You can purchase a flue brush from heating shops or most hardware stores and do it yourself, or ring a local heating specialist to find someone to clean it for you.

03.01.2022 We have three completed heaters sitting on our workroom floor right now. Two with regular cooktops and one with a large cooktop, pictured, which is great for all day simmering of a tasty pot of soup! Now would be the best time to organise your wood heating for the coming winter months, because all too soon therell be a waiting list!!
