24.01.2022 Hey Guys & Girls... So, thanks for liking our page. We just wanted to touch base and give you all a heads up of what the go is. If you haven't already, please read the 'About' section of the page so you are down with what the comp is all about.... We need people to sign up to this comp...so if you have liked this page please get around what will be an awesome non-conventional weightlifting competition. Please click on SIGN UP and follow the prompts to our Mindbody Online Store. We have already got a few sign-ups but need more. If you know of someone who needs to be in this event please share our page with them! We have some serious prize money up for grabs here...In total we are giving away $1,700. Aside from the prize money we are really just aiming to run a smooth and super fun competition. Whether you want to perfect your comp skills, have fun or take home some cash you should definitely enter. 17.01.2022 Righto..... We have 3 confirmed participants for the comp so far. That means there is a ton of prize money (over $1,000) that Hamish and I will be keeping for ourselves unless we get more entrants! What have you got to lose? The 3 confirmed entrants only need to make a total to walk away with $250 each!!! 12.01.2022 To all competitors: hope you are all excited to lift tomorrow, we wish you the best of luck. below are some final details to make yourself aware of. Be sure to check the running sheet attached, this outlines what will be going on and when.... Ladies, you will be lifting in the first morning session. you will weigh in between 8:00 - 9:00am Men, you will be lifting in the afternoon session. you will weigh in between 11:30 - 12:30 ***At weigh in you will be asked to nominate your starting lifts for both the snatch and the clean and jerk. Once your weight is nominated, it CANNOT be changed.*** The competition will be held at the show grounds, on entry you will tell your name to whoever is on the door, this will get you free entry into the building. As mentioned on the running sheet we will brief all athletes before you begin to warm up, we will outline all rules, cover off on all logistics and answer any questions you may have. 09.01.2022 Here is the first draft of the running sheet for the Liftoff. Please understand that this may change slightly. We have been given 2 time slots on the day, a morning session which we will use to run the female competition and an afternoon session which we will use to run the male competition. ***Please note a few important details*** - At weigh in you will have to nominate starting weights for both snatch and C&J. These loads will NOT be able to be changed. The weight you nom...inate will be the first weight you attempt on the platform. There is still time to sign up and win awesome prize money! 05.01.2022 To All Who Are Lifting This Weekend: You will not be required to pay entry into the Festival of Strength! Your 'Lift-Off Comp Entry' will cover this. Please mention your name on the door as you enter the festival and you will receive free entry. Thanks

You can choose to lift a 4th time in the Snatch OR Clean & Jerk (not both)! If for some reason you have paid and cannot lift on the day (for whatever reason) we will not be issuing refunds.
