25.01.2022 I finally finished my recipe e-Book tonight . It took so long but I'm really proud of the simple and nutritious recipes that I've included (along with chocolate brownies that are 100% indulgent and delicious ) . Now it's time for my graphic designer @millsmichaela to format it and make it look pretty!... . Special thanks to @my_fotosnapping for taking all of the and my other two children for baking and taste testing . I look forward to sharing the book with you next month in time for @nopacketnovember . 20% of funds raised will go to @take3forthesea to help their mission to reduce global plastic pollution and waste. . 22.01.2022 Do you get your 2 fruit & 5 veg each day? . Studies show that over 9 in 10 adults in Australia do not eat the recommended amount of vegetables . That is definitely not something to be proud of. Vegetables are packed full of nutrients and fibre, and reduce the risk of developing chronic diseases. They are also very cheap to buy (when in season) plus they taste so good ... . More than half of 18-24 year olds didn't eat the recommended amount of fruit either! . 21.01.2022 Berry Banana Pancakes during the week because why wait till the weekend? . They were so tasty and just what I needed . Recipe... -2 bananas, mashed -1 egg -2 tblsp wholemeal flour -1 tblsp LSA - handful of blueberries Mix all ingredients together, pour into hot buttered pan, once browned, flip pancakes, brown other side. Serve with fruit, nuts, honey or maple syrup . Hope your Friday has been a good one .
