23.01.2022 Back in 2017 our client asked us to slab some of their white gum so they could craft a table as a project with his son. The results are fabulous after many hours of hard work!

23.01.2022 Last year we had the opportunity to create many habitat hollows in trees that would have otherwise be cut down for firewood. Looking forward to revisiting these hollows in the spring to see what sort of recruitment success we achieve. Here is an example of the process for a larger hollow nesting bird such as a Cockatoo, Corella, Galah, Wood Duck or perhaps even one of the owl species of Tasmania.

We managed to uncover the original level and placed a small retaining wall to prevent this happening again. All reports are the tree is recovering well.

10.01.2022 Great weather means we have accomplished a lot in the last few weeks. Now the rains have set in its time to catch up on admins and get the head ready to hit the books via Melb Uni. Here is our newest climber Erik Hayward having a blast down in South Arm. Its a good thing we love what we do or this would feel like hard work! Thanks to all of you that have left such complimentary reviews!

10.01.2022 We have the pleasure of managing these heritage English Oaks (Quercus robur) at Middlewood. Planted in approx 1836 this is one of the oldest properties in Kingston. The Oaks are majestic with a 25-30m wide canopy. They are in excellent health and have many centuries left in them if managed properly. Thanks to our clients for choosing Tasmanian Tree Care. www.tasmaniantreecare.com.au

02.01.2022 Todays Effective Micro-organism brew using innoculant from Nutri-Tech solutions. We will give it 48 hours then add bacteria and ph stabilizers before using as a soil injection. This along with building the soil profile and regular watering is a surefire way of helping trees to help themselves!
