24.01.2022 NSW AHA STATE TITLES RESULTS: Congratulations to my beautiful 3 year old, Tathren Tiara. She really does pull out the big wins at major shows! She won her 2/3-year-old part Arabian Filly class (which was the biggest part Arabian class at the show!) and went on to win champion Junior part Arabian Filly! Many thanks to Kristy Parrington for taking the lead

Lee and Vicki Stubbs and their beautiful Anglo Arabian mare , Tathren Persuaded By Song (Tathren Strong persuader/Folk song) was just awarded 4th place in the Arabian derivative Mare class over 15 hands at the 2019 Sydney Royal Easter show! We are over the moon !!! Well done !!

20.01.2022 NSW CAPA show report. September 24, 2017 And extremely successful day for the Tathren team! Thank you so much to the hard-working committee for putting on such a fabulous show (Carlie Beer, Ricky Carver, Tanya Matheson.. to name a few) Many thanks to the judges and stewards that gave up their day to attend this event. Here are some of the major results:... Lee Stubbs and Tathren Full Glitz (Tathren Strong Persuader/Debinda Vanilla Skye-Sophie). This was only Sophie's third show under saddle, and she certainly turned heads for her good behaviour and stunning movement. Well done to Lee who rode her beautifully. *Reserve champion Ridden part bred Arabian. *Champion derivative shown by a non-pro *Champion led double registered *Champion ridden double registered *Champion Newcomer under saddle *Champion non-pro Ridden exhibit Courtney Bowyer and her leased Tathren Hudson (Gleniph sovanity/Tathren Hannah. This combination has gone from strength to strength is. A couple of months ago, Courtney was merely a pupil that had a lesson once or twice per week, and horseriding was just an activity. However, since leasing Hudson and having more lessons and time in the saddle; the improvement has been phenomenal! (Now there’s a good pony) Now, not to be outdone congratulations also to Courtney Bowyer and her cherished Tathren Hudson (Gleniph sovanity/ Tathr...en Hannah) on being awarded Crabbet Arabian group High point dressage horse of the year (novice level). These two horse and rider combinations have consistently competed and done well at the three Crabbet Arabian dressage days for this year. 19.01.2022 PRIVATE LESSONS Private lessons on our fantastic school horses are the perfect way to get started here at Tathren. They run for 30 minutes and cost $70(Monday to Friday, 6 am to 9 pm) or $95 (Saturdays and Sundays subject to availability)... Once you are accomplished in private lessons this opens the door to participate in Group lessons,leasing a Tathren Horse, competing on Tathren horses etc.. Happy riding!

19.01.2022 NSW Arabian Horse Association Dressage Fun Day Report. Vines Pony Club, Sunday 28th April, 2019. What a great, relaxed, friendly and fun day for our pupils and horses to attend! The judges and organisers were very encouraging There were dressage tests for young horses, youth competitors, Arabians and Derivatives, off the track horses, coloured horses, ponies etc. ... We took along a team of 8 horses ranging in ages from 5 to rising 20 years.. and pupils from 7 to 56 years! It was a first competition experience for a couple of pupils and horses, and they certainly did well. Each pupil and horse came home with ribbons and a fantastic discount voucher from Horseland Richmond, who were one of the sponsors of this event. We will certainly be taking another team of pupils and horses to the next Dressage Fun Day on June 23rd, 2019. It’s days like these that develop pupils’ confidence and skill sets. Well... that's because he is gift wrapped for Courtney's birthday Today Courtney became the proud lessee of Hudson!! 18.01.2022 NSW Arabian horse Association Inc. Ruth Dalton versatility challenge and dressage fun day report. Sunday July 1st, 2018 Wow! What a busy day! Besides being on the organising committee for this event We also took along a tribe of pupils and their horses. Lee Stubbs, Courtney Bowyer, Grace Kennedy and Amy Geleedst ... competed in the Ruth Dalton versatility challenge that comprised a led, ridden and jumping section. It is just a challenge to complete all three sections without being eliminated; and trust me there were a few eliminated in the jumping phase! All riders came home with some beautiful sashes and some prizemoney cheques! Well done! Next we moved onto the dressage fun day afternoon With all pupils bringing home some excellent ribbons and some lovely comments from the judges! Lee Stubbs had a great day on 4yo newcomer, Tathren Full Glitz. She won champion led palomino exhibit and champion ridden palomino exhibit. Well done! Emily Griffith and Honey Boo Boo of Tathren won a swag of ribbons. Well done on reserve champion led palomino exhibit. Emily also won best coat colour, a good second in her... novice rider, some really good ribbons in her Arabian derivative classes also... A great day for this new combination Courtney Bowyerr and Tathren Hudson had another very successful day. Courtney and Hudson were awarded reserve champion led Galloway, champion Arabian derivative gelding, reserve champion ridden Arabian derivative over 14 hands And supreme led Arabian derivative exhibit A great win!!! 15.01.2022 STATE TITLES REPORT: Well done to the 2yo babies of the Tathren Team that made their debut at the NSW Arabian Horse Association, State Titles. We were very pleased with the following results: *Tathren Smooth Criminal (Tathren Strong Persuader/Fleeting Phantom) CHAMPION ANGLO EXHIBIT. This big impressive gelding certainly has a big future ahead of him! ... *Tathren Henry (Gleniph Sovanity/Tathren Tabitha) came 2nd in a large 2/3 year old part Arabian gelding class and was awarded RESERVE CHAMPION JUNIOR PART ARABIAN GELDING. This flashy chestnut gelding certainly has big shoes to fill, if he’s going to follow in the footsteps of his very successful brothers, Harrison, Hamilton and Hudson. *Tathren Pageant Prince ( Tathren Strong Persuader/Debinda Vanilla Skye by Gleniph Sovanity) was a well behaved palomino baby and was awarded 3rd just behind his buddy, Henry in a very competitive part Arabian junior gelding class. *Tathren Immortal (Tathren Strong Persuader/Tathren Caramel Latte) certainly looked quite tall in her 2/3-year-old Arabian Riding pony Filly class. This gorgeous buckskin filly holds a special place in my heart, and I was just happy to see her out in the ring. She wasn’t the judges pick on the day, but she will always be my sentimental favourite Thank you to everyone that helped me finally get these babies out in the ring; being busy on a show organising committee certainly makes you leave your horses at home. Interested in breeding your own beauty? We have plenty of frozen semen for Tathren Strong Persuader and Gleniph Sovanity at the reduced price this season of $550 (including GST) per dose. A great way for our little riders to enjoy the thrill of having their very "own" pony for the day! We are the only riding school that provides each pupil with their very own horse for our day camps. There is no waiting, no sharing and maximum time in the saddle!

13.01.2022 Thank you so much to the Crabbet Arabian group of Australia for a delightful two days of showing at Hawkesbury showground over the October long weekend. The weather was wonderful, the prizes were just lovely, the judges were great and this hard-working committee put on a great show. Sunday, 1 October was an all breeds show, with classes for every breed. Courtney Bowyer showed her leased Tathren Hudson (Gleniph Sovanity /Tathren Hannah) , and was awarded with a beautiful pink... floral Garland for supreme Ridden Crabbet derivative. Lee Stubbs exhibited Tathren Full Glitz (Tathren Strong Persuader/ Debinda Vanilla Skye), and was awarded champion palomino exhibit and supreme coloured of show; as well as champion ridden palomino and supreme Ridden coloured exhibit from a quality lineup of coloured champions. Holiday Monday 2nd of October, 2017 saw these two horses and pupils back up again! Courtney and Hudson were awarded supreme Champion led derivative exhibit and Best youth hack! Lee and Full Glitz were awarded supreme hunter under saddle. A wonderful couple of days of showing for the Tathren team!

13.01.2022 NSW AHA STATE TITLES RESULTS: Congratulations to Deb Dickson and our good old, Hollydale Shahzam ! What a super pony to still be pulling out wins against much younger competition at the ripe old age of 20 years old! Deb and Shahzam were in many champion lineups! Deb came first in her senior lady handler over 45 years, she also won her show hunter pony class, and pulled out an amazing hand gallop in the champion workout! Hey dressage scores were very pleasing also! Shahzam has won many Australian champions And it is so nice to see him still bringing smiles to people‘s faces! What a super pony, And thank you to Deb for looking after him so well over the weekend!

09.01.2022 HORSES FOR LEASE: Do you want your own fully maintained horse that comes with all its gear, and is kept at one of the nicest horse properties in the Hawkesbury, for only $25 per day?? Hi everyone, below is the list of horses that are currently available for lease here at Tathren Stud.... Why lease? Leasing has the advantages of finding the perfect horse without the expensive and exhausting search, vet checks, purchase price and, the heartache of actually getting a horse and finding out that it is not suitable after you had purchased it. Leasing is as little as the cheapest agistment price here at Tathren. Leasing can be terminated at anytime with 14 days notice in writing. You do not have to share your leased horse with the school or any other pupils It is "your" horse! Leasing opens up many opportunities like adult riding club, pony club, competing at shows and dressage days, more time in the saddle etc. Leasing provides the pupil with valuable hours to train and form a bond with their horse. Your leased horse is fully maintained here at Tathren and you have use of all the facilities Arena, round yard, hot and cold wash bay and on-site trails etc. Your leased horse will be fed twice daily, have rugs taken on and off according to weather conditions, be included in our worming program, be taken up to the stables for the chiropractor, FARRIER, Vet and Dentist All without you having to have any time off work or school for these procedures to occur. All you have to do is come and ride your leased horse Your lessons become cheaper when you have them on your own leased horse $60 for a half hour private lesson and only $70 for a group lesson. We like to reward our pupils that have made the commitment to their riding, by leasing a horse. Please note we only offer leases to our current pupils ; and horses must remain at Tathren Stud. Here is the current list: *Tathren Spring Persuasion aka "Fairy". Liver chestnut mare with two white socks and a blaze. 2010 Arabian derivative mare. 14.1 1/2 hands. All horses are leased with all their gear (saddle, bridle, martingale , saddle cloth, pad, summer rugs, winter rug, halter and lead). 09.01.2022 TINY TOTS CAMPS (9 years and under) Held in school holidays for Tathren pupils. Cost:$125 per pupil. Includes morning tea and drinks. Please advise of any food allergies. Mothers/fathers, grandparents etc are also welcome to stay if they wish. $65 per head. These half day camps are designed for our tiny tots that would like to do some more hands-on experience with the horses and ponies. This is aimed at our little pupils that are competent at riding on the lunge lead And are... beginning to explore riding by themselves. They will learn how to groom, saddle, and bridle They will have some riding in the round yard, the arena and a led Trail ride also. There will also be a mini competition with ribbons awarded. Bookings can only be secured with full payment. Numbers are limited. Remember we are the only riding school that conducts camps, that allows each pupil to have their very "own" school horse. There is no sharing, no waiting and maximum time with your pony. See more

08.01.2022 FROST FESTIVAL REPORT: Oh my goodness! What a super busy and successful show for the Tathren team. There were horses going to classes everywhere! The Horse_Mark digital scoring made it super quick to get into classes, and get to the next one! Just give the ring steward your Horse_Mark number for the day, and all your details and your horse’s details are there! No pens, no waiting for the steward to write your name down etc... so easy! 07.01.2022 Group lessons run for two hours. The first half an hour is where you learn how to catch, groom, saddle and bridle your school horse. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO SHARE YOUR SCHOOL HORSE!! We have plenty of beautiful school horses here at Tathren to allow you to receive maximum one on one time with your school horse. The next hour is where you ride with your group that is matched to your age and ability. The last half an hour is spent unsaddling your horse, hosing and/or grooming your horse, before popping it's rugs on and taking it out to its paddock. Group lessons are a great way to gain valuable experience both on the ground and also in the saddle. They are the next step up after starting out with private lessons.

05.01.2022 MY PONY TIME sessions run for 2 hours and an extra curricular activity available for current pupils of Tathren who are competent in group riding lessons. These are usually held on a Sunday where we do not have any competitions to attend. Days and times are advised on our private pupil page on Facebook. These sessions are available to those pupils that feel that they are ready to one day lease or own a horse; or to those pupils that already have their own horse and feel that t...hey would benefit from supervised riding or for those pupils that simply want to spend more time in the saddle. It is an excellent way to try out horses that are for sale or for lease, or to ride a school horse that you have been wanting to try, or just to enjoy the feeling of having a horse without the huge expense. MPT Pupils arrive and set up their gear hook in our shady stable breezeway, then out to catch their horse in the paddock, lead it in and groom it, before saddling and bridling your horse ...ready for riding. Our staff will check your saddling and bridling for you, before you head down to the arena to commence your 1 hours worth of riding; where you can practice what you have learnt in your lessons. You may also like to head out on the trails here at Tathren. After riding, you can then hose and/or groom your horse before rugging it and returning it to the paddock. Bookings are essential. 04.01.2022 Happy official horses birthday to all our lovely horses here at Tathren! Our little foals Gemima, Brandy, Marvin and Henry officially turn one today, with Henry (pictured) being our youngest. Our eldest horse, Tyson turns 32!! He was purchased from Paula Minale , 26 years ago! Paula was happy, impressed and very emotional when she realised her old Tyson was still alive, when her daughter, Sophia commenced her lessons here, a few years ago. He was a very successful dressage ,...Show horse and school horse who took pupils out to competitions, he taught many pupils to ride, including those with special needs. I will be forever indebted to this special boy for being an outstanding school horse, who really put me on the map as an instructor. Tyson (Pictured)has really earned his retirement, and can be seen "free ranging" around here with his old mate, Ned grazing on the lawns (snoozing in the pic with Tyson). His eyesight is fading and Ned is his seeing eye dog! The bond between this pair is beautiful to witness. They are great mates! Happy birthday old mate! You made it to 32! No one told Tyson that a thoroughbred's life expectancy was early to mid 20's maximum! See more

02.01.2022 Hawkesbury Winter show report: A very busy , but successful day at Hawkesbury Winter show today. Congratulations to our beautiful Tathren Full Glitz (Tathren Strong Persuader/Debinda Vanilla Skye by Gleniph Sovanity) on winning her led palomino mare or filly class, and then being sashed champion palomino exhibit. Thanks to Kristy Parrington for leading her. Sophie also won her ridden palomino mare/gelding, and was awarded reserve champion ridden coloured exhibit! Well ridd...en by Sarah Olsen Well done to Debra Dickson and her leased Honey Boo Boo (Who is a full sister to Full Glitz) on being awarded reserve champion led palomino exhibit! I love a quinella in any way, shape or form Courtney Bowyer and her leased Hudson won her class out of 6 top quality horses in the ridden derivative gelding 14 to 15 hands. Courtney was called in last, so there was only one way to go! This class was loaded with outstanding horses! Lee Stubbs was awarded reserve champion led hack; also won district hack, and ridden derivative mare over 14 hands. Well done! A busy and challenging day ! 02.01.2022 Wow! What a busy April school holidays with Tiny Tots camps, Group and private lessons, Barn Buddies and pupils leasing and buying horses. Thank you to my ever so tolerant school horses and ponies for giving both big and little kids wonderful school holiday experiences Pupils just love having their own horse for camps and group lessons... there is no waiting and no having to share; therefore allowing maximum time in the saddle! Yeh, I know you were just outta the ribbons, but you were the real winner in my eyes!! YOU campaigned the Boo all last year to get qualified, YOU put all the hard work in, YOU have overcome life threatening illnesses, you are as old as time ...and you rarely complain about how hard it is. The cotton wool/ ins...tant gratification generation could learn a thing or 2 from you! We all rode every stride with you.. and it was a top workout!
