22.01.2022 To Our Valued Cross-Border Community Members The team at Tatiara Medical Centre would like to extend our support to our valued patients in the cross-border communities within Victoria. We understand that as of today the ability to access your regular healthcare provider is now deemed non-essential. However, we’d like to ensure you that we are still available to help in any way that we can.... We would like to remind our patients that we are continuing to provide Phone and Telehealth (Video) Consultations. Patients can utilise this service for repeat prescriptions, referrals, medical certificates, and general medical advice. Please note this service cannot be used for emergency care or any conditions requiring physical review e.g. wound care or injuries. We understand that these are challenging times for all, and we will endeavour to support all of our patients throughout this time. Please do not hesitate to contact our Staff on 08 8752 0600 if you would like to discuss your healthcare needs further

21.01.2022 The South Australian roadmap for easing COVID-19 restrictions was released today, with Step 1 coming into effect from Monday 11 May. The roadmap outlines how CO...VID-19 restrictions will be eased in our state, so our community can return to doing the things they enjoy in a safe and measured way. Every state and territory is different, in terms of its geography and its people. We have taken into account our specific circumstances in South Australia. A number of factors have been considered in determining what can resume, and when. These include deciding what measures can be introduced to lower the risk of transmission, how long people will be in close contact with each other and how much space everyone can have. This is a very important part of our planning for re-opening businesses in a safe way. Our priority is to resume activities which will strengthen our community, restore our economy and improve our physical and mental wellbeing as soon as possible. Our public health response has also been strengthened, including broader testing and faster contact tracing with the COVIDSafe app. Visit www.covid-19.sa.gov.au/recovery to view the roadmap. Frequently Asked Questions will be available soon. Keep up the good work South Australia, and let’s not undo all the good.

16.01.2022 IMPORTANT COVID-19 TESTING INFORMATION People who are not required to get a test and people who do not have symptoms are asked to not attend COVID-19 testin...g sites. Visit www.sahealth.sa.gov.au/covidcontacttracing to find out if you are impacted by the Parafield Cluster AND are required to get tested. Please be prepared for extended waiting times. We are working hard to open new clinics, extend operating hours and put on more staff. If you need to get tested: Please be patient with staff who are working hard to organise logistics and collect samples. Be prepared for delays by bringing water and snacks. If you are attending a walk-in site, bring sun protection (sunscreen, hat, umbrella) and a chair. Keep 1.5 metres between yourself and others in line and wear a mask if possible. You may wish to take someone with you to hold your place in line if you need to go to the bathroom. Motorists are reminded to not queue across intersections, ensure that you leave enough distance between your vehicle and the one in front of you, drive slowly through the testing sites and ensure you have enough fuel if waiting in line at a drive-through clinic. After your test: Go straight home. Avoid contact with other people. Stay in self-isolation until you receive a negative test result (in certain cases you may be required to remain in self-isolation or self-quarantine if directed to do so by SA Health or SA Police, even if you receive a negative test result). Information on how to self-isolate/self-quarantine: www.sahealth.sa.gov.au/covidisoadvice If you are well but worried, contact the SA COVID-19 Mental Health Support Line on 1800 632 753
