23.01.2022 A terrific weekend in Toowoomba for the Tattersalls Cycling Club with 12 of us staying at historic Vacy Hall Friday saw a great start to the weekend with drinks on the verandah followed by dinner at Gips Restaurant celebrating Rosalies birthday. Saturday we rode a 50km Toowoomba loop, and it got down to 1.7 degrees, culminating in a very steep Red Rooster Hill climb followed by coffee then a group breakfast on the verandah at Vacy Hall. ... After lunch we shot clay targets at the Toowoomba Shooting Range with Tattersalls Shooters with PCR the sharp-shooter. That evening a celebratory dinner with the Shooters & Motorcycle Clubs at the beautiful Downs Club. Then we retired to the Billiards room to watch the Wallabies smash the All Blacks! Thanks for making the weekend a sucess; Wayne & Liz, John & Rose, Peter & Edith, Eric & Sue, Nick & Shane and Milt & Bron. Terrific weekend only marred by a careless motorist who crashed into Wayne, damaging his bike. Fortunatley Wayne not hurt.

18.01.2022 Awesome Toowoomba ride today, cycling the new Range Crossing. Very very windy, and a wicked head wind climbing it didnt deter 19 Team Tatts riders. Awesome experience, thanks everyone for coming out. Some Stats...... Nick Rudd was our KOM followed by Matt Buckley. For speed Milton had the fastest average of 64kph (top speed of 85.3) for the decent but Matt with a 60kph decent average, had the fastest top speed of 88.6kph, nice one Matty, almost broke the 90kph speed limit. On a completely separate note regarding someone in a different stratosphere, Tatts Member James Bowes averaged 35.1 kph. Amazing! To give you an idea of how good he is, most of us climbed the Range in 55-65min. James did it in 35min and finished 8th overall. Awesome! He finished 7th overall in the KOM.
