24.01.2022 **Google Ads Grants** If you are marketing for a NFP business you must read this. 1 Did you know Google are offering $10K USD (PER MONTH) grants to help out not for profits? If you didn’t you need to Google it ASAP. ... 2 If you have one of these grants, you really should be paying to have them managed. Why? Not managing them properly could cost you around $167K (AUD, depending on conversion) per year. You could loose this by underspending or having a low quality ad account. If you don’t meet Google’s strict quality requirements they’ll close your grant account. We offer special not for profit pricing to help ensure you’re getting the most out of your Google Ads Grants budget. If you have any questions about ads grants don’t hesitate to reach out.

17.01.2022 Google Ads Grants Tip: Balancing Campaign Budgets When you set up your Google Ads Grants campaign budgets, make sure they never exceed your overall account limit. If you run a Google Ads Grants account this limit is $329 USD per day. If your campaign budgets add up to more than $329 the system will freak out and not know if it should serve your ads or hold them back to save money. ... Keep your total campaign budgets under the daily budget to allow Google to feel confident serving your ads.

14.01.2022 Did you know retirement marketing is our bread and butter? It might sound strange but our senior citizens are as active as anyone online and social + search marketing is a great way to reach them. Over the last three years we’ve honed our skills and really got to know the 65+ audience. We’ve worked with over 7 retirement villages, managed more than $300K media spend and even created over 1,000 UNIQUE organic Facebook posts (not counting our infinite number of ad variations).... If you work for a business that specifically targets the older population, send us a DM we’d love to chat about how you can get more from your marketing dollars, especially if your still focusing on Print and Radio!

13.01.2022 Do you need to use paid tools to be successful at social media? Honestly, IMO, NO! Don’t get me wrong, they can really help speed things along but they’re not at all necessary. ... For planning out your Instagram feed, Planoly is one of the tools that have a free plan (if you’re uploading less than 30 images a month) but if that doesn’t suit and you still want to keep costs down you can lay out your Instagram images on PowerPoint! Or print them and play with the layout on your floor (not so environmentally friendly) but you definitely don’t need to be paying for a tool to layout your images. As for scheduling, Hootsuite has a great free plan for connecting three profiles which works well for a lot of businesses (you could do IG on Planoly and then FB, LI and GMB (Google My Business) on Hootsuite for example). If you’re only posting on Facebook we’d recommend just scheduling straight in Facebook itself. It’s no harder than using a scheduling tool and you may even find you get better reach (Facebook prefers you using their tools over third parties). So before you start shelling out the big bucks have a think about what features will really make a difference in your day and evaluate if they’re worth the cost. (Hint: If you use them, good analytics usually are!)

07.01.2022 Facebook Ads Tip: Look A Like Audiences Creating a look a like audience using an important event such as a purchase or lead event will help you identify people on Facebook based on their online behaviours without you having to guess define their demographics and interests. It’s a way to target users that is much more aligned with the Facebook algorithm so often gets better results.
