20.01.2022 Having a fundamental structure in place for your marketing efforts is the single best thing you can do. We will give you a lot of helpful information in this series but if there’s one thing you take away from it all, please make sure it’s this. Your time is better spent working on the business than for it. Marketing is a huge part of any company that relies on it to interact with their audience.... But it can easily take up a crazy amount of time and get out of hand if you let it. The key is to be proactive with your planning and make an attainable marketing structure that you are confident in sustaining. It’s all well and good building out an awesome structure with a big workload, but that will drill you harder into the ground and use up unnecessary resources. Creating a structure has an abundance of benefits. Above it all, it will just make your life a lot easier. We want you to start being more practice so we’ve put together a content structure template for you to use. Just head to the link in our bio and check it out See more

18.01.2022 We’ve been doing quite a lot of research lately into creativity and the different ways of expressing it. Nothing comes quite close to this description by Carl Rogers "The very essence of the creative is its novelty, and hence we have no standard by which to judge it."... We believe that creativity is the key to all decisions and projects. Without it there would be no difference in any art form. See more

14.01.2022 Simplicity in design is key. Creating something with lots of elements is awesome, but what’s even more impressive is designing with what is necessary

12.01.2022 Brands who’s mission is abundantly clear are more successful than those that lack a clear reason for being. Think of any great company and I promise you they have built their brand off their overall mission statement. Better yet, they will continuously promote that same reason.... Patagonia for example, have a simple mission: We’re in business to save our home planet. They aim to use resources that cause no unnecessary harm (to our planet) and build the best product they can. Then there’s Apple, who’s mission is to bring the best user experience to its customers through its innovative hardware, software, and services. Our mission here at TCInfluence is to positively impact and empower one million people through the content and strategies we design for brands You can start to see what I’m getting at here... You cannot expect your brand to withstand the hardship of existing and thrive in this world without a strong underlying mission that your customers know about. This isn’t a hard task to to. In fact the sky is your limit when producing content around this. Here is an easy way you can express your mission statement. Write down your core mission statement (if you don’t have one, think of why you do what you do and brainstorm off that), then underneath it build out the different pillars of your brand (these can be your brand values which we covered in our first lesson). From there, write out 50-100 words on why they are your core values. Then using that description, find or take photos, imagery or videos that directly resonate with each pillar. Put all of them together and you’ve got a damn clear understanding of what you are here to do. Put the images and copy together and you have all the content you need. See more

09.01.2022 We are stoked to bring you the first lesson of crushing your social media marketing strategy in 2020. First up is Brand Values. It’s no myth that Defining Clear Brand Values is important for your business. It helps guide your brand as you grow and differentiates you in the market. What is more important is actually expressing those same values to your consumer in a unique way. With that though comes a challenge...... How do you do it? How do you show that you care about environmental sustainability? or that you promote your staff having a great work life balance? Show them, don’t not tell them. Being good at copy is a skill and plays a huge part in getting your message across. But don’t get caught up in relaying on it too much. Describing how good you are to your customers will never be an effective method of communication. Instead, use images or video that demonstrates those values and reinforces the message you are trying to get across. Attention is everything, and your customer may not even take 2 seconds to read your caption so make sure your imagery is saying a thousand words. See more

08.01.2022 2019 was one hell of a year Not only for us but for the entire landscape of the digital industry, and social media marketing got hit hard. Gen Z and the large number of people using social media are becoming increasingly used to seeing your ads, social campaigns and clever marketing tactics. The market just doesn’t react the same way It once did and with @instagram jumping in on this through removing the publicly viewed like featu...re. Your brand needs to come up with better and more interesting ways to convey their message to their target market. This shift is arguably one pf the better things to come out of the social media space. It’s really challenged the minds of brands who rely on engagement levels as a KPI and those influencers who’s content was determined by likes. We personally think it is a great move in a good direction. It is shifting the perception of IG users and people don’t care about likes anymore. It holds less value in the eyes of everyone. We are very excited for what 2020 holds and want to help you put your best digital step forward. We will be uploading weekly lessons on how to nail your social media marketing all through the holidays to 2020. Get Ready. See more

01.01.2022 Think of every piece of content you produce as a chance to evoke emotion in your consumer. You want the experience your consumer has with your brand to be unique and memorable. A brand only has meaning when there is emotion attached to it and when you make a good enough impact, they will feel enticed to come back and interact with you. All good content should also have reason behind it. In the current digital landscape attention i...s a scarce commodity and if your image doesn’t engage people from the get go, they are going to scroll past. So when creating your content, make the image a show stopper. Make it so visually appealing that your follower wants to read it. That way, they’ll actually stop and read the caption. See more

01.01.2022 Create a visual identity that people instantly recognise. Every single piece of content you produce, email you send, article posted or event held needs to visually represent your brand. Whether this is your logo, brand colours, type of font used or imagery. Your consumers shouldn’t have to guess who produced a piece of content.... Consider these your arsenal and a valuable opportunity to showcase your brand in its own unique way. In a world of saturation, having clear branding is key tool in succeeding in your marketing campaign. It helps consumers identify who you are and validates content with your brand credibility.
