25.01.2022 TCQ Construction has modernised its logo, ready to be rolled out this week.

24.01.2022 TCQ will be taking great pride in building the new $4.5 million Monastery complex in North Richmond for the St Clare order. These works will include an octagonal chapel with fine wood features, three storey living area, six Hermitages, a shop and archive space and two octagonal guest quarters. Once complete it will be a beautiful and serene complex for life and worship for Sister Joanne and the St Clare nuns.

23.01.2022 TCQ Construction is pleased to be working with the NSW Department of Justice to repurpose the Juniperina Juvenile Justice Centre into the maximum security Mary Wade Remand Centre for up to 94 female inmates. The $10 million upgrade works are to be completed within a tight timeframe of 12 weeks and will include a full security system upgrade, additional fencing and accommodation adjustments.

22.01.2022 TCQ Construction is pleased to be working with Sydney Trains, as an approved Transport for NSW Authorised Engineering Organisation, at the Macdonaldtown Stabling Yard. The project involves the installation of access platforms, civil works, ground based warning systems, and sewer pumping stations within the rail corridor. The platforms provide safe access for staff and contractors who access Sydney Trains 1,500 carriages a night in various stabling yards. The new platforms are integral in providing the required maintenance activities for mechanical works, graffiti removal and cleaning tasks.

20.01.2022 TCQ Construction, along with SJA Construction Services and TAFE NSW, have recently completed the $5 Million extension of Miller TAFE. TCQ undertook a value management process for our client by re-designing the structure with cost savings of over $100,000 and saving months on the construction program. TCQ Constructions team are experts in finding and providing innovative, cost effective solutions. Through our diligent preparation, innovative design and collaboration, this project is on track to achieve its milestones and we look forward to updating you on completion and delivering this vital project to the local community.

20.01.2022 Students give thumbs up to Construction Industry: Selected students in year 9, 10 and 11 from schools north, south, and west of Sydney have benefited by participating in a sponsored programme initiated by TCQ Construction (TCQ), that encourages apprenticeships in the building and construction industry. Earlier this year the NSW Government set in place fee-free apprenticeships for NSW students who commence their training on or after 1 July 2018. This bides well for student...s who are in the sponsored programme. CEO Brett Matterson (TCQ), is quoted as saying. If you take the statistics of 2016 where forty percent of apprentices were dropping out by their third year then something had to change. We are setting the ball in motion - our results are exceptional and indicate that the enthusiasm shown at the school level will increase apprentice numbers substantially. All we need now is for the Group Training organisations to capitalise on our work.

20.01.2022 Lending a hand with fire in our mind and passion in our heart. As a result of the aftermath of Australias current bushfire crisis, TCQ Construction and its volunteers have been lending a social-distancing hand to help fire-impacted families down the South Coast NSW, rebuild fences and structures that have recently been destroyed, so that they can get back on their feet as soon as possible. Through our innovative and green approach of salvaging and re-purposing materials from the burnt-out bushlands, we are looking forward to replacing some important heritage for future generations.

16.01.2022 Guiding the next generation towards construction - TCQ plays its part! Year 9, 10 and 11 boys from Cherrybrook T.H.S. and Jannali H.S. have gained invaluable insights about the Building and Construction Industry. During the past month each group participated in a classroom presentation and were in awe as our "Apprenticeship Co-ordinator" spearheaded a incredible site visit.... Outcomes to date are a result of close knit teamwork with the schools Careers Advisor; echoing some words- Jim - "Just wanted to thank you for a fantastic real- world career experience on Monday. The boys spoke about it most of the train and bus trip home and one has since been offered a full-time carpentry apprenticeship starting next week". Over the past two years, statistics drawn from schools within the programme show 70% of those students who attended, now want to pursue a career in the construction industry.

The new facility has an emphasis on flexible and open learning spaces that can be easily changed by reconfiguring teaching spaces that will promote collaboration, leadership and learning. 12.01.2022 TCQ Construction and NSW Department of Education have completed the final stage of Cherrybrook Technology High School. As per our previous post, Stage 1 was completed with the construction of a new 2 story building and stage 2 is now completed with external landscaping and restoration of the outdoor sports courts. Cherrybrook Technology High School is a high performer academically; the Students now enjoy more state of the art facilities to further underpin those great Educational outcomes. 08.01.2022 TCQ Construction in partnership with NSW Cultural Infrastructure and the Sydney Dance Company are pleased to share their impressive new dance studios are now op...en for business in Ultimo. An adaptive re-use project which converted an old warehouse into a state of the art dance and performance facility with an internal area of approximately 1200m2. This incorporated dance studios with specialised dance surfaces and equipment, gymnasium and equipment, green room, physiotherapy areas together with mezzanine areas for air conditioning and control equipment. 04.01.2022 TCQ Construction is thrilled to be working again with the NSW Department of Education to construct a new Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics Facility for Hurlstone Agricultural High School Glenfield. This $15 million dollar project will be completed in a little over a year. We will be sure to keep you updated on the progress.

04.01.2022 TCQ Construction is pleased to be working with the NSW Department of Education to deliver the design and construction (D&C) of the upgrade to Ashbury Public School. The upgrade includes new learning spaces and ancillary areas, vertical transportation, a new outdoor learning area, building services, external works, play equipment and landscaping. 04.01.2022 TCQ Construction are pleased to share that we are partnering with SJA Construction Services & TAFE to deliver a $5 Million extension of Miller TAFE. The building will increase community amenity as well as accommodate new classrooms, workshop facilities, conference room, student amenities for Carpentry and Construction. The project is unique for various reasons however the inclusion of external learning areas such as a power pole farm and a timber bridge will provide some logistical challenges.

02.01.2022 TCQ Construction recently completed noise reduction works at The Sunken Monkey Hotel. The works were carried out over night to limited the impact on business trade. We have no doubt the patrons of the Gaming Room will enjoy the new ambiance of the room with the inclusion of new carpet and other acoustic works.
