23.01.2022 In a rather rushed decision young Joshua Elliston purchased a second hand HASSE and KA engine with the intent to race the state championships as his first Junior event. A little practice at a local track before Official practice and he was away. He progressed all weekend and took to the kart very well. So good that he stood on the podium in third place at the end of the weekend. Congratulations

23.01.2022 Happy Easter everyone. Enjoy the chocolate and see you all soon
23.01.2022 Mega day! Qualifying started average, with a gearbox issue meaning we couldn't get out of 4th. Bradley luckily got one lap in. Josh's quali - 8th... Bradley's quali - 5th Our first enduro was a blast. Starting in 8th, we made our way up the field. With a brilliant pit strategy we managed to get to 3rd. A mega effort from both drivers. Race 2 saw Josh do his first race start which he aced. Once the pit window opened, Josh pitted leaving Bradley to do a 40 minute stint in the hot weather. Lapping fast and consistent laps was key. From 14th, Bradley got to 4th. Brilliant driving. This secured a 3rd for the day! Although results are provisional, a possible 2nd is likely!! Bradley's first podium in excel racing Thanks to everyone Angaston Motors Fuchs Lubricants (Australasia) Crowies Paints Barossa Power10 Gases Barossa Radiators And Graham, Darren, Bradley C and Craig. 20.01.2022 Best of luck to all TD Racing competitors (and likewise to everyone especially the officials) who are going to brave these cold wet next few days of practice and racing at the SA FSC series
20.01.2022 Well the 2019 SA State Championships are here. In previous years we have had a multi round series but this year it all comes down to a single 21 lap final, winner takes all race. Looks like we will have changeable weather once again. Best of luck to all competitors and if you get a chance drop by Bolivar raceway to watch some great close racing. Who knows you might even see a V8 Supercar Pilot getting back to where it all started.

15.01.2022 CIK-FIA pays tribute to Anthoine Hubert : https://buff.ly/2ZwvUvM He was a remarkable boy with his huge soul, his generosity, his responsibility, his kindness,... and his smile. He was a tenacious and courageous driver, calm and determined, liked by all since his childhood. Backed by a few loyal partners, including the FFSA, who had believed in him since shortly after his karting debut, he continued to climb to the top. After his first success in karting in France at the age of nine, when he was racing with Esteban Ocon, he made his debut in international competition in 2010 in the Junior category at the time, KF3. In the same year he participated in the first season of the CIK-FIA Karting Academy Trophy and took 2nd place when Charles Leclerc finished 5th. He was on the podium of the CIK-FIA U18 World Championship in 2012 and 2013 and drove in his first car races the following year, winning the title of French F4 Champion. A member of the French FFSA Circuit Team, he continued his apprenticeship in Formula Renault 2.0 and FIA Formula 3. He won the GP3 Series in 2018 and joined the Renault Sport Academy. This year he was competing in the FIA Formula 2 Championship with the British team BWT Arden. A terrible accident cost him his life, on Saturday, 31st August, 2019 on the Belgian circuit of Spa-Francorchamps. Born in 1996, Anthoine Hubert would have been 23 years old on 22nd September. To his parents, his brother, his family and his friends, the CIK-FIA sends its deepest condolences. FIA President Jean Todt has paid tribute to Anthoine and all affected by this terrible loss to the motor sport family: We all share a heartbreaking sadness following the tragic passing of Anthoine Hubert during the FIA Formula 2 Championship race in Spa. On behalf of the FIA, my deepest condolences to his family and to the Arden team. All our thoughts are with them and the best recovery for Juan Manuel Correa, who was seriously injured in the crash. #cik #cikfia #fia #fiakartingchampionship #kspreportages #rgmmc #anthoinehubert #hubert #f2 #f2championship #motorsport #karting

12.01.2022 Congratulations to all TDRacing competitors on your fantastic results at the SA State Championships. Two State Championships with three podiums Christian Cowie 1st Joshua Denton 1st Joshua Elliston 3rd Matt McRae 11th TagL... Darcy Heyne 14th Cadet 12 Mitchell Burgemeister 15th Cadet 12 Annalise Ellis 16th Cadet 12 Bradley Vaughan 4th Restricted Light In Cadet 12 Darcy showed good speed at times and was as high as 7th in the final. More work is needed with the kart and driver Annalise was set some goals over the weekend and apart from one race showed improvement. We seem to have some issues with the settings on the front end that keep moving but we will fix it. Mitchell has improved incredibly since stepping up to Cadet12 and is more and more confident in the kart all of the time. Bradley ran extremely good times all weekend and had the speed for a podium. He unfortunately ended up in fourth but is gaining valuable experience. Matt had a shocking weekend and lost considerable pace from the weekend before. We worked through them and had him driving for positions in the final. Overall a big congratulations to the team and the harder we try, the more we test the luckier we get
12.01.2022 End of season sale Currently we have two Junior KA4 HASSE karts and Cadet kart for sale. If you are interested please get in touch. Looking to do great deals as drivers are stepping up a class
12.01.2022 Australian Kart Championships Rnd 4 are being held this weekend in Emerald. Josh and Christian are all set to go. Practice Friday, Quali and heats Saturday, Finals Sunday. Live-streaming is available. Long drive.
12.01.2022 In 2019 the SA State Championships where held over a single round with qualifying, four heats and a final. Qualifying was on a damp track (not wet just damp) so... everyone was out on slicks. Josh qualified fourth after only completing two laps but at that stage he was over a second up on the next competitor. Josh had a good run through the heats winning three of the four and setting up a grid one start for the final. 21 laps is a long way and anything can happen, but after the lead swapped a few times Josh came out in front winning the 2019 SA State Championships for KA3 light. 11.01.2022 2019 River City Titles What a great day for close racing with all classes seeing some fierce battles. KA4 Light saw Joshua Elliston take a clean sweep in all races to show that he has come to grips with the HAASE junior kart. Unfortunately for Brock Harrison his HAASE was out of action after the first het with a mechanical issue that we could not fix. Restricted Light saw Bradley Vaughan pushed all the way in the final and after a great dice walked away with the win.... Darcy Heyne raced in the Cadet 12 class and showed glimpses of his previous performances at Monarto and walked away with a third place overall for the weekend. Rock Han ran in the Cadet 12 class also and whilst able to match the speed early on dropped back to finish fourth overall. 4SS saw Craig have a run for the first time in over two years and with no practice he ended up fourth for the meeting. It was an up and down day being turned around in two of the heats but after a few changes the Praga was going well. David Harrison in his 4SS had a dnf in one race after contact but had some great dicing all day long. I am not sure who took the photos but thank you. Love the panoramic view of the 4SS start
11.01.2022 Alonso KZ2 not much longer to wait now. TM power
11.01.2022 It is Enduro time at the GKCSA. The Dublin Go-Kart used to run the 125 lap enduro in December for clubman karts with two drivers and one kart. It is a little bit easier now but still just as much fun. Get your entries in. http://www.kartingsa.com.au//GKCSA-Christmas-Enduro-Supp-R
10.01.2022 Round two of the Australian Championship were held in Newcastle last weekend. I had always said no way to KZ due to the cost but the introduction of the trophy class certainly reduces them. Whilst small in numbers I am sure it will grow and you are also competing amongs the open class as well. Josh had a great run winning his class and running extremely competitive times with the open class running as high as fourth at times. Thank you to Tom Williamson and Len for there assistance and knowledge of these beasts. Finally without the support and commitment of all the volunteers who made the effort in these times to allow us to compete we could not be there.
09.01.2022 Happy New Year to everyone and all the very best for 2020. We have welcomed some exciting new talent to our team that have complimented our existing members. We have had some challenges and tasted great success and look forward to seeing you all in 2020. Craig and Josh Denton
09.01.2022 Time to go racing :)
09.01.2022 Festival State Cup Rnd 2 Barossa. Last weekend saw several TDRacing drivers and drivers that Josh is now coaching compete. KA4 saw Christian continue his success in his HAASE, winningvreo heats and placing second in the other two. Brock Harrison also in KA4 qualifies well in 5th but had a horrible day afterwards but is learning all the time. Cadet 12 saw Darcy, Annalise and Mitchell all compete. Darcy has had some time off but qualified in tenth, and ran 8th in the final. He ...has a couple of DNF’s in between however. Annalise qualified in 6th, and showed to be very competitive in the heats finishing 6th, 3rd, 4th and 5th. Mitchell has his first meeting in Cadet 12 qualifying 8th and running in the top ten all day. David Harrison has his first run in 4SS and thoroughly enjoyed it. He qualified 5th, and ran in 5th and 6th for the day. Bradley Vaughan ran Restricted 125 and put it on pole. He had a dnf, followed by two seconds and then a win in the final, setting quickest lap times of the race in four of the five sessions. Josh ran KA3 and qualified quickest in the wet, he won the first two heats and followed this up with a fourth in the third heat. He lead the final until two corners go when Amber did a great pass on him to take the race win. It was a busy day with changing conditions but great progress was shown all. 08.01.2022 SOUTHERN Meltdown We had a great day at the Southern Go Kart Club for the first meeting of the year and walked away with some great results. Will ran 5th and Michael finished 7th - well done. Cadet 12 - saw Mitchell Burgemeister steer his HAASE to a creditable 5th place overall and has progressed well in the off season.... KA3 Junior saw Christian Cowie dominate the field in his new Kosmic taking the overall win. Jai Hillock also in a Kosmic ran 4th with Brock Harrison, Kosmic also running 6th overall. KA4 Jnr saw two HAASE pilots on the money with Josh Elliston finishing second overall ahead of Annalise Ellis in third. They are both progressing and more race wins are not far away. 05.01.2022 Great day testing at Bolivar. Josh did laps in the KA3 Kosmic in preparation for the final round of the Australian Kart Championships in Melbourne next weekend. Michael did laps in his new Kosmic KA3 Junior Kart and Darcy did lots of laps in his new Cadet12 Kosmic Kart.
