24.01.2022 Hi all, As you all have probably heard we have no choice but to postpone Seaford Summer 7s for 2 weeks. Fingers crossed we can finish the competition after the two weeks but at this stage we ask you all to be patient as noone knows what the next two weeks will bring. I'll email all delegates letting them know the same thing but I do ask you be patient and wait for us to inform you of what's happening when we know ourselves. I won't be responding to individual messages and emails regarding covid 19 and please trust you will all be kept informed as we get info ourselves. Thank you Jasmin

23.01.2022 Hi all, I've sent an email to all those who were on my list to be kept updated and all team contacts I had from last year. If you didn't receive it please check your junk and if still not there please let me know and I'll resend. Thanks,... Jasmin See more

22.01.2022 Seaford Rangers holiday clinic is back for 2020. Held over three days on both weeks of the school holiday, our clinic is a great way to have some fun whilst learning and developing skills. With fully qualified coaching, these clinics are an absolute blast! A great way to keep our young players occupied over the holiday period. For more details and to register, email coach Matt Bennett [email protected]

21.01.2022 Hi all, It's that time of year to start thinking about entering your team in Summer Sevens! The tournament will be purely focused on having fun this year. We would love to get it back to the fun social competition it was always intended to be. We will be going old school this year and the website won't be in use! At this stage we are looking for expressions of interest, so if you are interested in entering a team and would like to be kept in the loop please like this page, me...ssage the page with your email or email me directly at [email protected] More details will be posted on how to enter teams in the near future. Please note we don't take individual players names nor organise the teams for you. Please be patient and all required info will be posted. This is just a heads up to start thinking about organising a team if you are interested. For those familiar with Summer Sevens will know that Cheryl has done an outstanding job coordinating the tournament from the day it started. Due to other commitments she will stand down this year and I will attempt to fill the big shoes she has left me! Bring on the warmer weather, summer round ball and fun filled family Friday nights! Stay tuned! Jasmin

21.01.2022 *FOUND THANK YOU* Hi all, last night one of our match balls went missing on the Cliff Ave pitch. If anyone sees it around the club or accidentally picked it up, please return to the club. It will have Seaford written on it Thank you

20.01.2022 *IMPORTANT* A little hiccup has arisen with team colours this year. In previous years if a colour clash occurs it hasn't been a problem as we just use bibs. Unfortunately this year due to COVID rules bibs can't be used. When registering this year we're going to ask you to nominate three preferences for colours. Obviously we'll try and give everyone their preferred colour but if more than one team nominate the same colour in the same age group it just can't happen. It will com...e down to first in best dressed. If you are looking for kits for your team the below offer is a great price. Please don't order these though until your colour has been confirmed after you submit your registration. We understand this will be an inconvenience to some, however it is out of our hands with COVID rules. Thanks for your understanding with this issue. I will send an email detailing exactly what needs to be in your registration email. Registration opens on Thursday 24th September Thanks, Jasmin

19.01.2022 Last round this week .... Coming up Next .... Support RFDS and recover from Xmas Day with a beverage and the bagpipes

19.01.2022 Hi all, I will email all team delegates when I have confirmation and details organised. Hopefully on Monday I'll have all the info. Thank you for your patience

13.01.2022 Round 5 Fixtures 4th Dec

13.01.2022 Hopefully by now your team delegates have informed you that Summer 7s will finish up tomorrow night. We've had to cancel the last round of games on Sunday due to the forecast temperature being too high. Thank you for your understanding and also a big thanks for supporting this great event in what was a very tough year for sport. Hope to see you all back next year!

12.01.2022 We are back!! We are very pleased to confirm we can resume Summer 7s this Friday 4th December! I have emailed all team delegates with the details of the remaining 3 games to be played. It is essential if you attend to check in with the covidsafe app. We will have the QR code displayed in numerous locations around the pitches and club rooms. Please remember this is a requirement and if we are to finish the competition EVERY SINGLE person must check in to comply with regulation...s! It's quick and easy and marshals will be on hand if you need assistance. Thank you for your patience! The weather is looking perfect for Friday so let's all do the right thing and check in on arrival so we can finish the competition! If you have any questions please contact your team delegate first and if they are unable to help you they can contact me Jasmin

12.01.2022 If we can all keep our fingers crossed the rain misses us at SSS that would be great but FYI if it’s just rain bring a umbrella, a towel or change of clothes and warm up after the game with some hot chips from the canteen!!! In the event of extreme weather like lightening we will advise team delegates of cancellations....

12.01.2022 Great start to this year's Summer 7s last night. Thank you to everyone who came out and brought their smiles and for supporting the canteen and bar. Watching the U8s last night was definitely the highlight for me and put a huge smile on my face after a crazy few weeks organising this! These kids really embraced the fun aspect and were so cute to watch with some teeny tiny kids out there. Really does remind me why I do this! Thank you, Jas

12.01.2022 Just a quick note of thanks to all who participated in SSS 2019 ! Also thank you to all our volunteers and referees who have worked so tirelessly. Special thanks to Jasmin, our Admin Queen, our Canteen staff (too many to mention but you know who you are) and our various Ground Stewards. Wishing you all a safe festive season ... Stay tuned to this page for 2020 SSS updates and if you haven’t had enough of the round ball you are all invited to our Annual Boxing Day Charity Match supporting RFDS

05.01.2022 SA Police understand that there are many questions surrounding the new COVID-19 QR Code, the App and how the data is stored. For the community. The COVID...-Safe Check-in has been added to the free mySAGOVapp which can be downloaded from the Google Play or the App Store. If you already have the app make sure it is updated so that you can access the COVID-Safe Check-in function. You do not need a South Australia drivers licence to use the app. Anyone who attends a Defined Public Activity must sign in (see the Public Activities Direction, page 3 for the list of activities). If the system is not working or you don’t have the required technology you must notify the venue operator and provide your details (either on paper or electronically) which must be kept by the venue. But why do I need to do this? The QR code collects basic data and securely stores it for 28 days, only to be accessed by SA Health to quickly control the spread of COVID-19 if there is possible community transmission. Because really who remembers where they went two weeks ago on a Tuesday night a 6.28pm? This takes the guess work out of it, you don’t need to check your credit card history or google maps, the app will record this information for you once you check in. What details do I need to supply?- Don’t worry once you scan the QR Code it doesn’t ask for your mother’s maiden name, where you went to school or your favourite food just like those common password security questions. All the QR Code securely collects is your name, phone number and the name of the business/venue you have attended. But why should I use the app and not the web browser?- The app is more secure and you only have to put your details in once. If you scan the QR Code with your camera you will be sent to a web browser and will have to type in your details every time. Remember this app is also the app where you can securely keep a digital copy of your driver’s licence and registration, so if it is good enough for that it is good enough to record where you had your morning coffee. What about the security of my data- For those of you who ‘would rather complete the paper form’.. to quote our State Coordinator and Commissioner of Police, ‘I know I’d prefer to be scanning a QR Code and having my data held centrally in an encrypted database rather than pieces of paper floating around businesses.’ How true this is, the paper forms also take longer for SA Health collect and control the spread of COVID-19. The very limited data that is collected is just like checking in on Facebook or uploading your latest selfie to Instagram with your location settings on. but is more secure, is deleted after 28 days and is only accessed for contact tracing by SA Health. Download the free mySA GOV app Available now on Google Play and the App Store. For more information visit: www.covid-19.sa.gov.au/business-and-work/covid-safe-check-in

04.01.2022 League Ladder Round 1

04.01.2022 Found last night near the U10 pitch, tell me what's in it and you can collect Friday! Also what looks like a brand new cap left on the main pitch. Describe it and you can collect too! Thanks

01.01.2022 Firstly thanks weather gods for lasting the first 3 games !!! Secondly, Under FFSA ruling 75% of game needs to be played for the score to be considered a result ... as such tonight last game will be considered a 0-0 draw ... we appreciate everyone’s support with this decision, player safety is paramount to us. Seeing as we are not playing for the FA cup we decided it best to call it a night when the lightening got close ...
