02.01.2022 Kia ora e te whanau, to all our kiwi friends and family living here in Australia, With yesterdays announcement from the Morrison Govt regarding the Job Keeper p...ayments ($1,500 per fortnight) and it now being opened up to Kiwi's on an Unprotected Special Category Visa, (all kiwi's who arrived after Febuary 2001) there's still alot of details that need to come out but for those interested here's the link to information and what we're entitled to. ****Its important to clarify that its not through Centrelink but through the ATO and initiated by Employers on their employee's behalf***. I don't know the full details yet but there are a few of us who work in the community trying to clarify the specifics. Its not going to apply to everyone as there is criteria, but I would recommend if you are struggling and have been recently laid off, check the link and see what help you can get. Check out the link below for more details and the attached photo with the specifics of the Job Seeker subsidy which is different to Job Keeper. Above all else, be safe, be sensible and make sure to reach out and stay connected to your supports. Nows a time to innovate, reshape and even reinvent but keep looking after yourselves and your loved ones. https://www.servicesaustralia.gov.au//new-zealand-ci/30721
