20.01.2022 Enjoyable Lions dinner meeting at the Tea Gardens Country Club tonight. $12 schnitzel special was a big favourite. Thanks to our speaker Bart who took us throug...h his recent 16,000 km trip around Australia. The Lions club meets at the Country Club at 7pm on the second and fourth Tuesday each month. Come along and see what this wonderful community service club has to offer. See more

13.01.2022 567 pairs of glasses sent to the Lions recycling centre in Qld as a result of the Lions Club of Tea Gardens and the Tea Gardens Public School joint "Recycle for Sight Project". What a great result! Congratulations to the student leaders at the school who got behind the project and promoted it so well. We had a target of 250 glasses and this was doubled! Thanks to the management and staff at Myall Quays Coles who agreed to two collection baskets being on the courtesy desk for the ten week collection period. And of course, thanks to everyone who donated glasses to the cause.
