23.01.2022 CORE Club Championships- 2nd & 3rd November. CONGRATULATIONS to all competitors in Poomsae and Sparring, experienced and novice who showed great skill and spirit over the weekend. These events dont happen by themselves so a huge THANK YOU to our amazing club of students, instructors, parents and supporters. Between us we covered all bases from refereeing, judging, coaching, computer operating, marshalling, cheering, comforting, cooking, baking and the list goes on. Bring on 2020 for some more action

18.01.2022 And thats a wrap for Team CORE on the Gold Coast with a delicious team dinner to celebrate a great weekend and a final medal count of 28 for the AT National Championships ... Coach Jomil Millares got back on the mats today for the Australian University Nationals before heading home. Thank you to Team CORE for going along to support and to Tamzin Christofell for sitting in his seat We wish everyone a safe trip home and thank the athletes, coaches, team Manager Ash and supporters for a memorable trip. We will re-open on Thursday 12th September where classes will resume as normal.

17.01.2022 Yesterday was a great experience for our Team CORE students who had the opportunity to compete in the ATWA State Cup. Fantastic results across the board, a big thank you to the state association for putting the competition on, as well as an even bigger thank you to all the CORE parents, students, supporters, referees and coaches who made the day an enjoyable one for all.

08.01.2022 Congratulations to Cameron and Lily today at the Poomsae National Teams Selections Lily narrowly missed out on the semi finals by 0.04, placing 5th. Cameron placed 3rd in the first round earning himself a spot in the semi finals. Unfortunately he didnt advance to the finals coming away with a bronze medal. 07.01.2022 Day 3 of the AT National Champions was our Poomsae teams time to shine. They came away with 4 Gold, 8 silver and 4 bronze medals. A special mention to our Para Poomsae team where we had the biggest biggest participant numbers in this catergory and are Cores first Para National Champions

Take a closer look and you will see the village that stands behind them. The instructors who keep them motivated and push them beyond their limits. The referees and corner judges who continue to upskill and practice so the game is fair. The coaches who help them stay composed and be their best selves when it counts. ... The marshalling crew keeping them in order while they wait. The computer operators making sure everyone watching can follow along. The parents bringing them to training day in day out and stepping back, allowing them to learn to cope with their emotions at a distance. 02.01.2022 Today saw some of our members perform their Poomsae at the Core Club Championships. From minor beginners through to senior advanced belts it was fantastic to see the efforts leading up to the tournament and the huge improvement from the team overall since last year.
