19.01.2022 {NEW WORK} Meet my latest work for Flip & Co Phillipa first emailed me wayyyy back on the 19th of Jan, 2019 to enquire about a website, so this website project has been a long time coming! Flip is a wearer if many hats - she’s a mum to 3 boys, a farmers wife and a passionate quilter who lives in Condobolin NSW... Her email to me said, I have finally found myself at the brave stage to create in line with what I love and want to make and share. Quilts are something I am desperately passionate about, I believe there is nothing better than a handmade quilt to snuggle with on the lounge in winter with a cuppa and good book, to make cubby houses and forts with and for children to snuggle. They create memory and feeling It was such a heart warming email and I immediately knew that I HAD to get to know her and build her website. I connected Flip with Lauren from Me & My Girl to create and snap some beautiful and clever images, which are a real feature on the site I also connected her with Rachel from Shine Copyto write some crafty words to help showcase Flips passion for what she does and tell her story. Flip also had some stunning imagery already by Em Wollen Creativeso we used those also. And then there was me - putting all the pieces of the puzzle together for Flips digital home, her website. A huge heartfelt thank you to Flip for entrusting me to build her online oasis, I have loved every second! 17.01.2022 This morning I was a guest on a zoom catch up with a bunch of creatives to give some tips about SEO including keywords, website optimisation, monitoring tools, blogging and more I wording normally schedule something like that on a Monday morning, let alone at 9am because school drop off and I like to use Monday mornings for planning my week, but I have to say I’m feeling mega motivated after that call and it’s reminded me how much I love what I do! I love h...elping others improve their businesses, I love SEO chat, I love meeting new people and I love running my own show. I 100% wouldn’t be doing this if I genuinely didn’t love it, and I never knew you could have a career where you woke up every day excited to get stuck into your tasks and get excited about working with such awesome people and business, and other creatives etc I’m feeling very grateful for this privileged life I live and trust me, I do not for a second take it for granted See more

11.01.2022 Can we talk about setting really high expectations for ourselves for a minute? Every day I’m in the office I write out a ‘to-do’ list - pretty normal thing to do, right? But why the heck do I set myself such high expectations by adding 20 things to the list for one day? It’s so unrealistic; I set myself up for failure from the get-go. Do you do this too? ... It’s interesting - do I do it to set myself up for failure/self-sabotage, or do I do it to motivate myself to get heaps of shit done and be super productive? Which doesn’t usually work because I don’t have enough time in the day to get it al done... I guess when I see 2-3 things on a list my brain tells me, pfft that’s not enough for one days work mate, don’t be lazy ooh that inner critic can be a jerk!
