18.01.2022 Last Friday we celebrated "Mud Day"at Teddy Bear Corner. The children were very connected to nature and having so much fun with all the experiences educators had on offer throughout the day. It was so exciting getting messy, dirty and exploring all the outdoors has to offer.

03.01.2022 This Friday 28th June 2019 we will be celebrating International Mud Day at Teddy Bear Corner. International Mud Day allows children all over the world to celebrate nature, outdoors, and mess by getting MUDDY! Regardless of age, race or religion, covered in mud, we all look the same! Being outdoors and enjoying what the earth has to offer is very important to us at Teddy Bear Corner, it shapes our Philosophy and supports our love of children learning through play and the outdo...ors. If your child is attending this Friday 28th June please send them in old clothes and pack a change of clothes as we will be getting very MESSY WITH MUD! There will be lots of fun activities. If you have gumboots and would like to bring them in, that would be great! Looking forward to a Messy Day, full of fun.

02.01.2022 Yesterday we had a special visit from Nurse Kellie from AWCH. The Association for the Welfare of Children in Hospital (AWCH) is a non for profit organisation that exists to promote the welfare of children, especially their emotional and social well-being , within hospitals and other care services. The program is designed to help increase childrens knowledge and reduce their anxiety about hospitalisation and medical care. It was so much fun, we learnt all about what to bring... to hospital, all the instruments they use for operations. We also got to do some interesting activities, dress up like doctors and help operate on Nurse Kellies doll patients. We did a skeleton puzzle, played with toy ambulances, looked at X-rays, had a ride in a wheel chair and even got to bandage up and treat our friends. 01.01.2022 Thankyou to everyone who wore their PJs today and donated to help raise funds for Asthma Foundation. We had a fun day in our PJs and even had a special treat watching a movie with popcorn. The babies painted their own box cars and made a drive in movie set up and enjoyed watching some Wiggles. The toddlers participated in fine motor activities with pasta and tongs and watched Curious George. The preschool children practiced their numeracy skills with Play-dough number games and also watched Finding Nemo. Fun fun fun in our PJs!
