23.01.2022 Dr Ferguson and Staff would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy and safe New year! The clinic will re open on Tuesday the 12th of Janurary. If anything breaks or comes off your braces whilst we are away please dont panic as it will be fine to leave until the 12th. If there is anything sharp just use the wax we provided. We will see you all in 2016!

22.01.2022 This kids face pretty much sums up the feeling of brushing after Braces come off lol. Oral Hygiene is super important at any time, but it needs to be ESPECIALLY good with Braces in place as the Braces trap food on the teeth and gums. If the food is not brushed off it causes Gingivitus and may cause marking and decay on the tooth surface. So brush brush brush!

If you have braces on at the moment and something breaks over the Christmas break off please dont panic. Just ring us on the 9th of Jan and we will book you in to fix it. If something breaks and causes rubbing or irritation use the wax provided.

10.01.2022 Oral Hygiene is super important whether you are wearing braces or not but braces trap food onto your teeth and if left on your teeth and not brushed off you are going to cause gum disease. You also run the risk of permant white marking on the teeth and tooth decay. So make sure you brush those teeth! www.teeththatsmile.com

If our patients have any breakages of their braces or lost elastics, please do not stress about it just call us on Monday the 8th and we will book you in to repair it. 04.01.2022 Captain Barbossa couldnt wait to eat his bushel of apples and rightly so they are good for you and delicious. If you have braces on however, please cut them up into pieces first as biting into a big crunchy apple is a sure way to cause a breakage which you dont want.
