24.01.2022 Coronavirus update 28th April 2020 The total number of identified COVID-19 positive patients in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District remains at 45. There are 39 recovered cases, and currently no hospitalisations. 3,581 people have been tested for COVID-19 in MLHD.

22.01.2022 Here is the latest update from Council regarding the COVID-19 situation (28th March 2020) There have been three new confirmed cases in the Murrumbidgee area. Read the full update to see news from all government levels and NSW Health.



21.01.2022 The NSW Government has issued a Public Health Order for the closure of all caravan parks and camping grounds. Accordingly, the Junee Road Caravan Park, Airfield Tourist Park and Ariah Park Camping Ground will be closed immediately except for accommodating persons who have no other place of permanent residence. These restrictions have been put into place to keep our community and visitors safe and must be adhered to.

21.01.2022 Update for Monday 6th April 2020. As of 8am there have been no further cases of COVID-19 identified in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District. EFTPOS is now available at the Teal St Waste Depot and no cash will be taken.

16.01.2022 As at 8.00 am Friday 24 April 2020: There have been no further cases of COVID-19 identified in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District. There are 38 recovered cases, and currently no hospitalisations. 3,287 people have been tested for COVID-19 in MLHD.

12.01.2022 Update for 17th April 2020 There has been one further case of COVID-19 identified in a resident of Murrumbidgee Local Health District, bringing the total to 45. The person is a resident of Albury who has returned from overseas and is isolating in a Sydney hotel.

New information today includes: - There are 4 new cases in the MLHD overnight... - Tim Hurst CEO of the Office of Local Government has advised that local government will be considered an essential service and will likely remain operating in the event of a lockdown. - Skate parks and outdoor gym closed as per government regulations. - Lake Centenary will close due to the social isolation requirements. 08.01.2022 Once again, there have been no further cases of COVID-19 identified in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District, however MLHD is encouraging people to be tested if they show any of the symptoms: - Murrumbidgee COVID-19 Hotline 1800 831 099. Testing is open every day from 7am 9pm. - Anyone who believes they may have contracted the COVID-19 virus should call the Murrumbidgee COVID-19 Hotline on 1800 831 099 for a confidential over the phone assessment.
