25.01.2022 Anger is an assertion of rights and worth. It is communication, equality, and knowledge. It is intimacy, acceptance, fearlessness, embodiment, revolt, and reconciliation. Anger is memory and rage. It is rational thought and irrational pain. Anger is freedom, independence, expansiveness, and entitlement. It is justice, passion, clarity, and motivation. Anger is instrumental, thoughtful, complicated, and resolved. In anger, whether you like it or not, there is truth. Anger is ...the demand of accountability, It is evaluation, judgment, and refutation. It is reflective, visionary, and participatory. It's a speech act, a social statement, an intention, and a purpose. It's a risk and a threat. A confirmation and a wish. It is both powerlessness and power, palliative and a provocation. In anger, you will find both ferocity and comfort, vulnerability and hurt. Anger is the expression of hope. How much anger is too much? Certainly not the anger that, for many of us, is a remembering of a self we learned to hide and quiet. It is willful and disobedient. It is survival, liberation, creativity, urgency, and vibrancy. It is a statement of need. An insistence of acknowledgment. Anger is a boundary. Anger is boundless. An opportunity for contemplation and self-awareness. It is commitment. Empathy. Self-love. Social responsibility. If it is poison, it is also the antidote. The anger we have as women is an act of radical imagination. Angry women burn brighter than the sun. In the coming years, we will hear, again, that anger is a destructive force, to be controlled. Watch carefully, because not everyone is asked to do this in equal measure. Women, especially, will be told to set our anger aside in favor of a kinder, gentler approach to change. This is a false juxtaposition. Reenvisioned, anger can be the most feminine of virtues: compassionate, fierce, wise, and powerful. The women I admire mostthose who have looked to themselves and the limitations and adversities that come with our bodies and the expectations that come with themhave all found ways to transform their anger into meaningful change. In them, anger has moved from debilitation to liberation. Your anger is a gift you give to yourself and the world that is yours. In anger, I have lived more fully, freely, intensely, sensitively, and politically. If ever there was a time not to silence yourself, to channel your anger into healthy places and choices, this is it. 23.01.2022 The crack of dawn... As I sat in the dark, I asked myself, "Why am I here again?" I spent the last week in dark ceremonies and deep processes, away from the shining lights and the loud noises of the world created just so they distracted me long enough to forget my own internal truths and voices. ... So much so that I often caught myself in the busyness of life, the bombarding messages in the market, "More" and "Better"...I often found myself back in the struggles, the hustles and mindless grind that tries to figure out 'THE' way... So much so that I lost my own center, my own authority, my own sense of power within. Oh all the shining lights and the promises, all the dress ups and costumes of 'spiritual' and 'enlightenment' so much so that I tortured myself again and again with doubts, judgments, 'not-enough-ness'. So much so that the truths of who I am got buried and caged in, so much so that I committed yet again another act of self-abandonment It was as if life became the city of vegas and everyone is hooked on to some form of addiction. If you wanna see the demons, don't look in the darkness, because they are blatantly walk in the lights - from the disconnected zombie survivors, the martyrs that do everything for everyone whilst suffocating her own self, the perfectionists that ruthlessly murder any imperfect ideas or actions, the do-gooders that prostitute their own souls in exchange for the approval of the tribe, the damsel that hooks her victim with the self-pity stories, the so-called teachers that predate on the vulnerable, the ice queen that fears the power of her own heart so she shuts it all down, leaders that brainwash others from their own source of truths, the dictator mind that thinks it knows and tries to control everything etc. Yup...demons are blatantly walking in daylight... The parts of our souls that are starved from nourishment - Love. And each time I descend, I come to meet myself again... In deep resting In deep love and reverence... By shutting out all the lights and noises, I get to listen deeply to the things I deeply desire...I get to finally see the genius in the parts I condemn as 'crazy' or 'inappropriate' I get to meet myself in all the messes, all the imperfections, all the shames and guilts...with love I get to come home... 23.01.2022 One of the most restricted/heavily conditioned energies that I have come across is Sexuality. - As much as it's widely blasted across the screens or media, this is one of the taboos subjects people often avoid. I can't remember how many conversations Ive had with people where they contracted when sex/sexual energies or desires are mentioned... There hasn't been much education round this energy...... It's heavily bound with shames, judgments, shutdowns or suppressions... If you were born with open-minded parents who welcomed and explored their own sexuality, then consider yourself lucky, consider yourself in the minority... The majority are dealing with shames and judgments around their own sexuality, their desires, fantasies, their thirst and hunger around this energy. And often when it's not healthily explored, it became distorted (think porn addictions & rape cultures) There are so many fears around these energies... One of the most common shames men have around sexuality is the 'Take' or 'Ravish' energy While for women, many desire to be ravished, or taken... Actually one of the most common fantasies for women is the 'Rape fantasy'... When this is done in a way that is consensual, in a container that is safe, held and full of communication, it builds an incredible level of Trust between the couples, and also allowing both to be met, seen and held in such a beautiful way. When you live with shames, it's dense and heavy, it's restrictive and limiting... It will drain and suck your soul dry. And the way to combat shames is NOT to put more shames and shoulds on top... 22.01.2022 I love how much youre connected and embodied... This is often the thing I hear when people come into my field, and every time I hear that, theres a little smile in my heart. ... I started diving into Feminine work 6 years ago, at the time, I was frustrated, drained by life, disconnect from my body and very shut down sexually. I was in a very dark place and just miserable all the time. On the outside everything seemed Ok but deep inside everything was crumbling down. And I was so good at hiding my struggles with fake smiles, achievement and external success. Feminine work was the catalyst for where I am today, the initiator and activator of bliss, pleasures, joy, creativity, wildness and power and all the things I deeply desire in life. But it wasnt an overnight success. The person you see today, the one whos comfortable sharing herself, whos connected to her heart and her sex, the one that is firey and embodied... all of this is an accumulation of years of inner work, healing and breakthroughs... Its years and thousand hours of showing up in uncomfortable places, to meet myself on the deepest space within myself, witnessing my ego die over and over again, the willingness to be burnt in the fire of the soul, to dance with the edges of whats comfortable.. And maybe there's an undercurrent of terror ...... or at times overwhelm A sense of helplessness and fears... Maybe deep inside you there is a child that is trying so hard to keep everything together...even though all he/she may feel like falling apart... Maybe you are feeling angry or frustrated...trying to control all the little things you can because it all feels too much to manage... Maybe you've got someone dependent on you and survival is all that you feel at the moment, trying to keep your head above the water... Maybe you feel so overwhelmed with your emotions or feelings so shutting down and soldiering on is all you can do at the moment Maybe you've distanced yourself from all the things, all the people and what's out there... 17.01.2022 Asking for what you need is a big thing! I thanked and acknowledged a woman today when she reached out for support in one of the journeys Im co facilitating at the moment. Do you how rare it is for women to ask for what they need? Its weird and bazaar to think that when someone reaches out for support its something you need to acknowledge or celebrate. But thats the reality, we are surrounded by projections of success and people having their sh*t together that bring... many into shame when it comes to exploring or sharing their weaknesses or vulnerability. On top of that, many (I mean hundreds and thousands of women) learnt from a very young age that they dont matter, their needs dont matter, that they need to compromise/sacrifice themselves to be seen as loving, giving or kind. I remember when I first started my journey that asking and claiming what I want or need, felt outrageous and edgy. I get the whole strong, independent & powerful woman was a thing, but truly, even superwoman has her Krypton weakness... We are just humans right?! And the more struggle the more we want to hide, the more we fear judgment and shame, the more we settle for isolation and loneliness. The more we place value on perfection and having to show up a certain way, the more we allow ourselves to be dwarfed by flaws and weaknesses. So I totally get why its challenging or edgy to reach out for support or ask for what you need. And that in itself is a journey, the ability to recognise that what you experience is normal, the ability to not fall into victimhood and resent the world, the ability to connect to your vulnerability and hold space for whatever is there, the ability to ask for help and support, the ability to ask for what one needs and show up for themselves. And I celebrate that journey, that process. I celebrate every woman who is willing to put their needs first, to show up for themselves, to fill their own cup, to be fully responsible for their own happiness. I celebrate every woman who leans into courage and follows what her heart calls for. I celebrate that wholeheartedly. I truly hope that as a society we can normalise more vulnerability in our conversations, in the way we connect and relate. Lets all be clear, no one has their sh*t together so lets stop trying to fake it with each other. Time to put down the f*cking mask, shall we? 14.01.2022 There is nothing you bring that I cant hold... That all the broken, imperfect parts of yourself are welcome... that stop them from truly feeling the peace and unconditional love that is inherently within. There is not a damn thing that takes away from the truth that You are loved, always. That all the broken, imperfect parts of yourself is welcome... That you dont have to do a single damn thing to receive Love...... You may try to understand that from a cognitive level, but have you ever dared to meet those parts and actually allowed yourself to feel the love you are so deeply yearning for? This is one of my greatest gifts. The field of love, acceptance and permission I bring into a session allowed my clients to step fully into themselves... It melts away the layers of shames, guilts and all the shoulds that stops them from truly feeling the peace and unconditional love that is inherently within. 13.01.2022 I recognise that most people are TERRIFIED of being SEEN. We yearn to feel accepted and welcomed for who we are, yet terrified of letting others in, to let down our masks, to welcome in the vulnerability of connection, to put our heart on the line, to be big, to speak up, to claim our desires, to share our dreams... Running the first round of Being Seen made me realise how much conditionings were there for people to lift the veils of illusion and truly be met.... One participant revealed that it felt gut-wrenching for her to reveal a part of herself...a part she has mastered to keep hidden and secret... Those are the parts that entangled in shadows, shames and judgments... We held dear to the identity we constructed to feel and receive love/acceptance, in turns betraying the very core of our being... We get caught up in the notion of 'good vs bad', 'right vs. wrong', 'should vs. should not'... The masks we wear and the parts we hide... 11.01.2022 THE ART OF SLOWNESS Slowness is often an edge for many women and men. We are so conditioned to fill the space, to constantly be on the go, to expect things faster and quicker...that we forget the sacred beauty of slowness, of the pause. ... Slowness is a feminine art... Its in the gentle opening of the feminine that entrances the masculines heart and awakens him to love, to life. Slowness creates a vortex that pulls in, magnetises and seduces what the feminine truly desires. Because in the feminine realm, time becomes an illusion, the recognition that being in her presence, is a timeless and forever. She collapses time and weaves magic into the presence. This is one of many gifts when you work with the feminine. The feminine lives in the moment and yet, she holds the codes of eternal. This is why when we can slow down enough to drink in the present moment, so much can be experienced. All the things we believe and seek for externally, are right here...love, joy, happiness, fun, laughter, sensuality, pleasures, abundance... The more you notice are present, more is available. In the moment of bliss, orgasmic pleasures and freedom, time doesnt exist... Time is a masculine measure to control, label and capture moments of life. And yet if we only work in the masculine time frames, life becomes drier, harsher, more rigid and stressful. When we are too precious about capturing the moment, we forget to live. When we hold on so tightly to whats was or what will be, we forget whats here... Sex can be amazing but slow deep gentle love making is mind blowing and intense. This is true in intimacy as well as in life. The most memorable moments are often timeless... In the feminine realm, there is always spaciousness, a place for deep resting and relaxation, a place of unconditional love that many yearn for. The feminine creates a sense expansiveness in the nano second, a reminder of the connection we are to the universe, of the cosmos living through this tiny human being. When I was in corporate, I often feel the rigidity of the system, the fixation on the external which sucked my soul dry. I was often seen as too emotional and too sensitive. I used to have to suppress/disown/shut down this part of myself to survive in this environment. And then I left to soul search and arrived in the Conscious community, abandoning the structure to go internally, to dive into the ...Feminine. And whilst my depth and my sensitivity were really seen, my love for the Masculine got cast aside. I often seen as being too direct/too Masculine. It was beautiful to hang around and share beautiful connection, but I often experienced resistance when we talk about business, masculine structure, being obsessed with results or goalsIt was easier to hang in the chai tent and drink Kombucha I rarely found a space that could hold both and feel SEEN and Honoured. I am a sensitive soul, I feel soooo deeply, which is part of my giftsand I dont often meet a system, framework or structure that can hold that or see me in that. I am also a fiery, kick ass, wild and driven womanand I dont often find communities that can meet me in the dark, burn with me and rise in that... I used to feel like the crazy one, the rebel, the black sheep And then it stumbled on meThis is what my work is all aboutI create - first and foremost - for myself Creating a body of work that can meet me in the currents of life, the highest highs and the lowest lows and anything in between. A body of work that can hold my depth, meet me there and see the golds in that A body of work that can burn with me in the holy rage and sacred fire so that chaos and destructions so that new life can be birthed. Because beauty from my heavily conditioned understanding was always about how you look, the clothes you wear, what others perceive of you, the kind of success/status you hold, what 'image' you project to the world, how you should say/exp...ress/share yourself... 'Beauty' in the name of media is never about Self expression, rather it carries a frequency of performance, showy and sometimes prostitute. Even in the spiritual and conscious community, Feminine beauty is often linked to the shining, 'light & love' goddess image... How much of the Feminine 'beauty' has been commercialised and tainted through the eyes of those whom themselves have not walked the muddy path of Feminine initiation. I spent years shattering the illusion of beauty that was imprinted in my psyche to reclaim the kind of 'beauty' that is truly and forever mine.
