11.01.2022 Dear Friends of Temple Shalom. It’s very strange times indeed we find ourselves in. This year is probably the first ever that many people feel uncomfortable attending shul due to a virus! At Temple Shalom we have made plans to make our High Holy Days services as safe and meaningful as possible for everyone. Part of our Covid safe conditions include social distancing measures which require pre-registration from people who wish to attend any services. ... As seating needs to be carefully spaced out more than normal this year we may also have to restrict numbers. If you are NOT a member of Temple Shalom, but have visited us before and would like to attend again this year, please contact us by private message to this page, or phone our office as soon as possible for pre-registration. Without pre-registration we unfortunately cannot admit you.

11.01.2022 Wishing you Shabbat Shalom and Good Yom Tov

07.01.2022 Shabbat Shalom to you all. Keep safe and well everyone

07.01.2022 Shabbat Shalom. We hope everyone is keeping safe and well. Jo

06.01.2022 YOM KIPPUR also known as the Day of Atonement is the holiest day of the Jewish year. It is a fast day and a time for repentance of ones sins and also a time of forgiveness. Traditionally it is regarded as the time when G-D writes everyone’s fate for the forthcoming year in The Book of Life. The Sabbath and High Holidays are observed from sunset to sunset, so this evening sees the start of the fasting and observance. I hope this explanation helps our non-Jewish friends to gain some understanding.

06.01.2022 Shabbat Shalom from us all. Be well
