11.01.2022 Today I am proud to say that I became an ambassador for the Type1 Foundation. I am thrilled to be able to assist this great organisation to support people of all ages with T1 Diabetes. The Type1 Foundation is a volunteer run not-for-profit charity. Its aim is to raise awareness of Type 1 Diabetes through education in schools, medical practices and the wider community providing support and connect families living with this chronic disease. The Type1 Foundation was establishe...d in Geelong in 2015 and was founded by CEO Ange Liston-McCaughley after the sudden diagnosis of her daughter Lila at age 9.
