25.01.2022 Keeping cool! Check out our new shade tents. These will be great when watching pennants or tournaments at the club. Today they had their first use at junior pennants. Thanks to the parents who helped put them up.

23.01.2022 Last Saturday was finals day for our UTR tournament at the club. We had 9 divisions from first-time tournament players to experienced high-level players. The event was run fantastically by our Tournament Director's Shaun Moore (Tennis Factory) and Tomio Yamazaki from the Kent Yamazaki and Bob Brett Foundation who we ran the event in conjunction with.... Many thanks to Glen Crosbie who was our final day official, Scotty Walsh for photography, our court supervisors Nic and Brendan and the many volunteers (managed by Club Manager Janine) in the canteen. 17.01.2022 The East Fremantle junior tournament in December is an iconic West Australian junior tennis tournament that was run for over 40 years by the Marshall family. It was known for many years as the Coca-Cola Classic and had high participation numbers as there were many different divisions for differing levels. With the new UTR (Universal Tennis Rating) format we are running this year we believe we are again able to offer matches for all levels making it a very inclusive event for ...all juniors. Our event at East Fremantle LTC runs from midday on Thursday 17th Saturday 19th December and offers a minimum of 2 singles matches. Thursday 17th December is the last day of the school term and we are offering exemption to Year 6 students on that day with their first match being scheduled at 4pm. There is a green ball event for 13&Under https://app.myutr.com/events/35045 ($40). And a yellow ball event for 18 & Under - https://app.myutr.com/events/33799. There are two entry types for players ranked between 5.0 and 12.5 and then any players below 5.0 (first-time tournament players). The cost of the event is $50. 15.01.2022 Here’s Ryan and Duke down at the club recently and happy to receive their free fish and chips from Tankk Gourmet Fish & Chips. Thanks to Tankk they have offered our junior East Fremantle Lawn Tennis Club members free fish and chips. To claim yours you must be a junior member of the club. 10.01.2022 Not unexpected but confirming there will be no international tennis event (ATP Cup) in Perth this summer. Looks like Tennis Australia are looking to conduct a s...eries of tournaments in Victoria to limit the movement/travel of the players (and the virus). We have just received confirmation of this from Tennis West advising the cancellation of the ATP Cup in Perth. See more

06.01.2022 Congratulations to everyone who took part in the Junior Club Champs. Originally scheduled for March, we had to cancel the event due to Covid and conducted the event in October instead. Well done to all the winners and all the players that made the event happen. We got there in the end!

02.01.2022 'My First Tennis Matches' is an event for our young junior players to come and try their very first tennis matches. The fun, relaxed event is for Red, Orange and Green ball players, giving the kids an opportunity to put into practice the skills they are learning in their tennis lessons into an actual game. We finish with a presentation, sausage sizzle and for parents the bar will also be open. When: Friday 4th December Time: 4pm-6:30pm Ages: 6 - 12 years...
