24.01.2022 Tennis has many health benefits and throughout the test of time tennis has always been a safe, fun, social and a non contact sport, so rest assured that participants are less likely to prone any injuries and/or catch any viruses compared to team/contact based sports nevertheless our coaches will encourage players to play sensibly and take safety measures, spacing out (which anyway has always been the case in tennis) between other pupils and coaches during their lessons also to follow courteous hygienic procedures before and after lessons. Players who compete either in our junior, adult Comp and tournament players are not required to shake hands for sportsmanship in these unprecedented times. 17.01.2022 Tennis First Academy Update: COVID-19 (Coronavirus) To All Members, Parents and Pupils We are reassuring parents / carers and all users that we are closely monitoring the COVID-19 coronavirus situation and are being extra vigilant about good hygiene practices. We are reminding staff not to come to work if they are sick, which is of course, in line with our usual practices because of staff working with children.... We can also assure you that: The cleaning contractors have been asked to be extra vigilant, with their work being scrutinised more closely by our on-site staff. We have reminded staff and will remind pupils about proper hygiene, space out between others for courteous guidelines and to keep hand sanitised / washed before and after lessons at all our centres in the coming days. The tennis courts are open to the public for hire, it is currently the newest tennis centre in Sydney and soon we will be conducting many new exciting Tennis First coaching programs and ( ) matchplay events. We have been recently hosting match play events in our Milperra centre and been having some g...reat feedback and demand from junior & adult players and parents. We will definitely host some of the sought after UTR events in McGirr park tennis centre in the very near future. The new first-class sporting venue has 2 cushioned hard courts and 2 synthetic grass courts, amenities building, lighting, landscaping paths and a exclusive car park. still provides the best tennis programs to the community of Bankstown/Liverpool districts and family operated since 2002. 02.01.2022 Tennis First had permission to continue running programs this week, but with the new government restrictions of 2 people we werent able to conduct group lessons / match play for the final week of the term. As a result we decided to put all the lessons on hold (including privates) and conduct make up lesson for the next term. We will keep everyone in contact and in the mean time we will be connected through social media by sharing and upload tennis videos we recommend viewin...g and post some motivating athletic quotes to inspire in these unprecedented times. We looking forward to get back on court soon! Ps: ANZ hot shots programs has already finished last week as that was the make up done, as we normally finished hot shot programs on week 8.
