18.01.2022 YOUTH, ADULT AND SENIORS STATE TEAM ROLL OFF NOMINATION FORM: To all Qld youth, adult and senior bowlers wishing to be part of the Qld State representative teams for 2021 - the nomination form, schedule and other details can be found on the TBAQ website http://www.tbaq.org.au/tbaq-adult-date-roll-off-entry-form/ Note: Adult teams are called the Qld Rachuig Teams (pronounced Rockway), Youth teams are Qld TBA21, Seniors Teams are Qld TBA50. Nationals in 2021 will be held in Tasmania.

18.01.2022 Good afternoon all and happy new year. In 2021 we will be having the Mike Carney Memorial Tenpin Rankings tour which will encapsulate the entire of the Northern... Zone. 6 tournaments in total, best 5 results will give you rankings points with the mount isa trip giving your 1.5 times the points for your result. This will be a scratch Tour with bonus payouts for Highest finishing junior/lady and senior in the overall championship. Ladies will be allocated a +8 pins per game. The Tour will kick off in Mackay on Jan 30/31. It will cost $ 50.00 to register for the tour as a 1 off fee which will include a shirt and rankings points. Followed by a per tournament entry fee. Entry forms for mackay will be out today as well as a full list of when and where tournaments are to be held. This tour is not limited to North Queensland bowlers and will be open to anyone with a 2021 TBA Registration. To be eligible for the overall rankings points you must have paid the Registration fee before your first event. Shirt designs are below.

We have come to an agreement and will be putting our open on in 2020 (pending TBA) Our NEW proposed... dates are 27th, 28th and 29th of November 2020. A little warm in the north by then but still well worth the trip. 16.01.2022 New Covid compliance rules announced today - more detailed information coming to centres and TBAQ state committees and tournament promoters in the next couple of days. Contact tracing requirements are having to be via QR code as handwritten contacts have in some cases not been legible. If no QR code system available venues will need to be monitoring 1 person per 4m2 for all indoor venues.

11.01.2022 SAME, SAME BUT DIFFERENT FOR THE NATIONS TOP SENIOR PLAYERS The name may have changed to TBA50, but our senior bowlers will take part in the same competitions a...t this years ANC 2021. The age requirement, state based singles, doubles & teams interstate challenge format will both remain the same, as will the associated events. The only tweaks coming are to the re-named TBA50 Cup, which will see a more exciting stepladder finals format and equal prizemoney for men and women in a ridiculously long overdue change that will see both genders treated equally at a national championships for the first time. The TBA50 section of the ANC gets underway on Wednesday 11th August with the TBA50 Cup being played on Thursday 12th August. Will you be as smooth as this guy?
