24.01.2022 Last night we joined 3rd Orange Scout Group Venturers and we ran a grid reference exercise for them.

22.01.2022 On the June long weekend some of our Rovers, and leaders and ventures from all over the region. Travelled over 3 and a half hours (some even 6 hours) down to Wee Jasper. We spent the weekend caving and abseiling, while enjoying each other’s company, pushing our own boundaries and overcoming fears. Some of us even learnt, that when needed we can squeeze through some pretty tiny crevices.... overall everyone that went learnt something new that they have taken away from trip



20.01.2022 Today one of our members joined 2nd Gordon Rover Crew and 1st Berowra Rover Crew (Sydney North Region) on an abseiling trip at Boars Head lookout at Katoomba.

20.01.2022 On Tuesday Night with the easing of restrictions the Rover Unit went to Fourth Crossing Picnic Area and invested 2 new Rover's and 1 reaffirming his promise

17.01.2022 Over the last two days (19th and 20th May 2018) we had our annual rock craft weekend, where elder scouts, venturers, rovers and leaders from around the region get together and do...... abseiling! We had people who have never abseiled in their life, have ago. We had people with some experience learn more skills and we had very experienced abseilers teach everyone else, to prepare for our major caving event down at wee jasper!! It was a great weekend and thank you to everyone who showed up and participate and had fun!!

16.01.2022 On the weekend our Crew Leader finished his BPS training course at heathcote scout training camp and congratulations to all the others who finished the course from the other crew/units that attended!

16.01.2022 We had a fun night helping the 3rd Orange Scout Group Venturer Unit with a Cleanup Australia hike along East Orange Creek from the scout hall down to Dalton Street; navigating fallen trees and dark tunnels! At the end we had picked up about a dozen bags of rubbish and recycling.

07.01.2022 This weekend we traveled roughly 4 hours to camp coutts for the amazing high school mootical, although we didn’t participate in the daily activities, we had a blast just relaxing and meeting new people

03.01.2022 Tonight we did some preparation for Ratskin, which included cake, chocolate, chips, lollies and a movie (how to train your dragon).... we are so totally getting our Vikings on!!!

03.01.2022 Tonight Brody was Invested into the Unit at kandos swimming pool at the 1st Kandos Scout Group Christmas party.

02.01.2022 On the weekend the crew took an amazing opportunity to forge our own crew sword (Awesome? I know right!) Although we still have heaps of work left to do on it, it is getting there nicely!
