24.01.2022 An educational short film I illustrated and animated a few years ago is getting a lot of views and comments on youtube. If you havn't seen it, I would love to know what you think - leave a comment on youtube. EUPD is known in Australia as Borderline Personality Disorder. This video discusses self harm, domestic violence and some strategies for dealing with anxiety and depression. These strategies may not be suitable for everyone. 10.01.2022 A great review of a book I have some artwork in.

08.01.2022 Making the connection between author-world and TL-world, I’ve gathered some bites of inspiration from some Australian children’s authors. I asked for an idea -... big or small - to help kids become betters writers. They gave some wonderful responses. Here's the link: https://petethelibrarian.wordpress.com/resour/writing-tips/ See more

05.01.2022 As a book designer, I rarely get to work on a project that is so close to home and so close to my heart. I worked on this for over 2 years with Les Hall. Before... Les passed away we spent many hours in his studio talking about science, design, painting, teaching and publishing. The style Les wanted was similar to folio volumes from the mid 19th Century like Goulds' Book of Birds and I think we achieved this. This book is a significant contribution to natural history publishing and I am proud to have been part of it. I regularly go for a walk through Mary Caincross Reserve, listen to the whipbirds, say 'Awww' when I see a pademelon and say hi to the flying foxes for Les. I can't wait to see all the artists and everyone involved at the launch. Big thanks to Steve, Sue, Pam, Riley, Jim and Pam, Greg, Clancy, Uncle Noel and the Jinibara elders and everyone who helped get this across the line. Links below to the book launch if you are interested. See more
