02.01.2022 4O used the spheros to draw, measure and record the area of rectangles this morning for maths. We used the draw program and live sensor data to record the length and width of our rectangles. The boys and girls then used the box method for multiplication and the formula: area = length x width. 4O also reflected on when we would use data to measure larger areas in real life. The boys and girls reasoned that landscapers, builders, tilers, architects and painters would all need to measure large areas to achieve success in their jobs. Amazing mathematical thinking this morning 4O!
02.01.2022 Kindergarten and Year 6 were creative and collaborative learners this morning building incredible sculptures. It looked like a very fun lesson!
