24.01.2022 Hi all, Yesterday i had a customer bring their phone in because the battery wasnt keeping charge and was always going flat. Well after checking out the phone i found out that the problem initially started out with the customers charging cord because it was charging with my test cable. But because the phone had been flat for so long and it was an iPhone it was asking him for his passcode which he didnt remember because the phone was set up so long ago!!! So unfortunately the ...phone had to be restored back to factory settings meaning that the customer lost all of his contacts and settings on his phone!!! So the things that we can take away from this are #1 Keep an eye on your cables. Any fraying/split cables will affect how your charger performs. #2 Write down and save all of your passwords in a safe place!!!! This is extremely important because it is very painful to retrieve lost passwords through Apple. Anyway guys just giving you a few tips and thoughts on what to be careful of in future.
