02.01.2022 Everyone has heard of balayage, and for good reason. There are loads of reasons why you should be considering this as your spring/summer colour splurge. Balayage is low maintenance and high impact. You can't go past this technique for colour that lasts forever and grows out beautifully. Minimal regrowth? Yes please. It looks like you grew it out of your own head! If you don't love colour that looks ‘done’, a lived in balayage can amplify your own natural features without loo...king artificial. Balayage can be applied to create your own bespoke signature look. Subtle and sexy is where it's at in balayage land.

02.01.2022 Are the products youre using damaging your curls? Its time to reassess current home hair care routine! Steer clear of supermarket brands that claim to smooth and de-frizz your hair (they are usually heavy in synthetic silicones).... When co-washing or conditioning your curls, DONT scrub! Be super gentle, treating your curls with love. After showering, dry your hair using a microfibre towel and tip your head upside down using a plopping action. Alternate between moisture and protein treatments to ensure the perfect shape and hydration.

02.01.2022 It’s that time of year when we spend much more time out doors and in the sun so it’s essential that we care for our ends now to maintain our hair throughout the holidays.. The thing about hair that not everyone remembers is that like skin, it too can be affected by harsh UV-A and UV-B rays that we are exposed to outdoors! Both of these can contribute to damage, colour fade and dryness. So how do we protect our ends throughout summer?? ... Well, hats are a great source of sun protection for when we are at the beach and out and about (it’s not everyone’s style though, and that’s ok!). And whilst we don’t have sunscreen we can slip slop slap through our hair (trust us, we have tried it and it’s not a good idea ), we do have a range by oWay called SunWay which we have available right now!! There is a bath, mask and *drumroll* sun protective elixir. Now this guy is basically a sunscreen for the hair. It protects the hair against prolonged exposure and against dryness caused by saltwater, chlorine and sand. It also protects against UV rays!!!
