10.01.2022 INTRODUCING THE ARC MINI CHAMPIONSHIP The 2021 ARC Final will include an ARC Mini Champion and Reserve Champion and will include the following classes: Welsh Leading Rein Pony 12hh & under, Rider 3 yrs and under 8 yrs ... Open Leading Rein Pony 12hh & under, Rider 3 yrs and under 8 yrs Welsh First Ridden Child's Pony 12.2hh & under, Rider 5 yrs and under 12 yrs Open First Ridden Child's Pony 12.2hh & under, Rider 5 yrs and under 12 yrs Australian Ridden Mini Champion & Australian Ridden Mini Reserve Champion (1st and 2nd in each class eligible) Invitations to compete in the ARC Mini Championship will be issued by the WP&CS but will be drawn from first and second placegetters in Lead Rein & First Ridden classes at ARC qualifier events. MINI CHAMPION receives $1000 & GARLAND MINI RESERVE CHAMPION receives $500 2021 ARC Final is subject to change due to COVID-19

06.01.2022 Whilst the ARC Working Party is ever hopeful that the 2020-2021 ARC season will be able to hold more qualifiers we are monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely and will make decisions on changes to qualification rules and entry fees for the 2021 ARC Final in time.

05.01.2022 Since it's inception in 2019 the Australian Welsh & Part Welsh Ridden Championship (ARC) has focused on producing a showcase of Australia's best ridden exhibits; now it is time to extend the competition to further demonstrate the flexibility and versatility of our Welsh champions. The Mini Championship will decide Australia's best Lead Rein & First Ridden exhibits. The inaugural Mini Championship is planned to be held in conjunction with the 2021 ARC Final in the fourth quart...er of 2021. Entry will be by invitation for the first year, and preference for invitations will be given to exhibits which have excelled in Lead Rein and First Ridden classes at events hosting ARC Qualifier events.
