25.01.2022 Fingers crossed if all goes to plan we should be extracting in the next couple of days and might even have a new variety on the shelves by the end of the week. Will keep you posted on the variety.
25.01.2022 Another productive "Bee Tree Hunt". Always the best sort when a cool swim or two is included. The country side is looking amazing after recent rainfall. Very lucky to live and work in this beautiful area.

24.01.2022 Meet Oliver John- The Boonah Beekeepers 2IC. He is happy to have any excuse to tag along with dad and help if it means he can use the smoker & get a tiny driving lesson around a paddock.
23.01.2022 Canola. This pretty little yellow crop is a powerhouse of nectar and pollen that bees just LOVE. It produces a beautiful light mild honey. And in return the bees help cross pollinate the crop for maximum yield for the farmer. Its a total win-win for all

18.01.2022 Its not always hard work, heavy lifting and smokers. We took a bit of detour on our way when checking sites up at Goomburra via The Head rd. The recent rain has made all the creeks flow and the whole place looks so lush and green.

12.01.2022 How "sweet" is this! Scott-The Boonah Beekeeper took this "golden" opportunity to enrich the young minds of a local school class with the intricacies of honey production and apiary life. Apparently it was great fun trying to find the "QUEEN" on the frame that Scott brought with him in a special glass cage. Safe, fun and educational. Thanks for having us All Saints Boonah
