13.01.2022 My Dad by Deacon Jude It was last Christmas at my visit home to Myanmar when Dad and I were together, but I Skype him every Sunday. Playing soccer in the backyard, riding my bicycle and going to the cinema were my fond childhood memories with him. Growing up I enjoyed reading newspapers with him and looking at old photo albums while listening to his narration, and we still do them each time I go home. 10.01.2022 Deacon Jude Johnson - Ordination to the Priesthood Deacon Jude will be ordained to the priesthood at St Patrick’s Cathedral, Melbourne, on Saturday, 5 December and will celebrate his Mass of Thanksgiving at Our Lady of Victories Basilica on Sunday, 6 December. Jude has spent the year among our parishes assisting with sacrament preparation and planning, pastoral care, archiving and administration. The date of 25 December was chosen because there was already a Roman midwinter feast celebrating the darkest time of the year, that is the time of least sunlight.
