14.01.2022 Tegan Calvert 'This is Ed my next door neighbour. What a legend he is! Ed runs the raffle every Friday at the Drop Inn for The Compassionate Friends, a bereavem...ent support group and for anyone who has lost someone to suicide. Twice a year he does a 2 day book sale in the carport for the Smith Family, Learning for Life programme. He really loves helping others and being a part of the community. Ever since I had my first child, then I had twins, he waters our garden on our watering days and also does our lawns. His wife is also amazing, volunteering 2 days a week at lotteries west house in Mandurah, and cooking us lots of treats. They spoilt our kids on their birthdays and Christmas. We are so blessed to have such amazing neighbours who are now like family to us.' See more
