In 1885 the club decided to start a building fund to work towards owning its own premises. 35 years later (100 years ago in 1920) the dream was made a reality. 01.01.2022 It has been 1 year since the Scandinavian Festival Brisbane 2019! We love a good Danish hotdog and cant wait to see Scandi Fest 2021 in action! The Scandinavian Festival was founded by the Danish Association Heimdal (credit to Lone Schmidt & Soren Hoimarks hard work) back in 2012. It was first held in Austin Street Newstead and has since moved and expanded into Perry Park! The Danish Association Heimdal, Norwegain Club of QLD, Swedes Down Under, The Finnish Club, The Estonian Association and Latvian Club are the current masterminds behind this event!
