Were not big bread eaters (as we try to avoid gluten where we can) but after finding this amazing sweet potato sourdough from @glutenfreefoods_store we now need one to keep it fresh This bread bag is made from 10 recycled plastic drink bottles, is big enough to fit a large sourdough and has a super sturdy clip to seal in the freshness

One thing that I love about it that I forgot to mention is how easy it is to clean because theres no ridges or bumps for grime to get stuck in. 22.01.2022 Im saving these for later so I can use them to make something delicious. No cling wrap needed with @littlemashies food covers. Im going to have a look through my latest book to get ideas on what to make with my yolks. I picked this book up in New Zealand and its awesome! Lots of ideas of how to use parts of food that are often discarded.....theres recipes like watermelon rind relish and pumpkin skin powder

17.01.2022 Reusable travel items. What are your go to items? For me, its my @seedandsproutco flask, @cheekywipesaustralia travel wipes @frankgreen_official coffee cups and @keepcup kids cups. I always make sure I take a stainless steel lunch box too so if we can pack car / plane snacks and have something to put leftover food in for later

09.01.2022 I recently travelled with this @seedandsproutco drink flask. It keeps liquids hot or cold for many hours and I was very impressed! I made a green tea at the hotel breakfast buffet at 7am and it was still hot, hot, hot right into the afternoon! Highly recommend Sleek and smooth
08.01.2022 #Repost @cheekywipesaustralia with @get_repost Theres been study to show that people are more wasteful while on holidays / travelling compared to when theyre in their normal environment. And you can see why this happens. Often things like cloth nappies are not convenient when a washing machine isnt available daily. The study showed the mentality of the participants was Im on holidays! I want a break from saving the environment! (Not those words exactly but you get w...hat Im saying!) But you can bring some simple things with you to avoid excessive waste. Some of the things I like to bring with me: A water bottle that I can refill Cheeky Wipes! Awesome for the plane ride and to carry with you each day Something to put a hot drink in - I like green tea. Having a thermos (or equivalent brand) with you means you can carry a warm drink with you without the need for throwaway cups I also brought a travel coffee cup with me to be used for take away coffees (or hot chocolates. I am in Switzerland for 2 days so lets be realistic) A lunchbox - pack snacks for your day or take leftover away with you. Yesterday I grabbed a banana and a boiled egg from the hotel breakfast to take with me. 2 foods that I knew would fill me up and they required no packaging. Nature wrapped them just they way they need to be Canvas carry bag for any purchases made Travel cutlery set - I take mine everywhere. 05.01.2022 My kids wanted to make lemon & mint cordial (lemon juice, mint and sugar) so we made it this afternoon and saved all the lemon rind. We popped the rind in a jar and covered it with vinegar. Well let it soak for a week or so and then use it for as natural cleaner

04.01.2022 A moment of silence. We went to Crackenback (a place near Thredbo) on the weekend with our girls. They are high energy kids so being in the car for long periods of time is a little exhausting. We drove to this place - Spencers Creek - and the road was closed just past this point. It was cold! So cold. So hubby and I jumped out of the car while the girls stayed warm in the car. And we took in the view and had a cup of tea @seedandsproutco
